We clearly expected more from Premium Mare.
The fence is constantly covered with towels and swimsuits by the beach guests, so you no longer have a view of the sea and can only look at other people's swimsuits.
The beach is completely overcrowded and... you have to climb over towels to get to the water, there are no paths you could use.
The garbage from the beach guests flies through the fence onto our pitches and is not removed here, we also reported this to reception. We picked up the garbage from the bathers ourselves every morning. This is not a good situation, there should be staff to clean the first pitches every morning.
We pay €100 a night here and you can simply expect more.
There are far too few toilets and shower facilities at sanitary facilities 1 & 2, so you have to queue at almost any time of day. Or take the long way to shower house 3.
There is no path lighting on the paths to the Premium Fronte Mare pitches and you would have expected waste water at this price.
Yesterday evening was the icing on the cake.
Strangers who did not belong to the campsite harassed the campers in the front row from the beach. They wanted to barbecue on our pitches with the charcoal barbecue, but of course we forbade this and they moved on to the next neighbor.
There they were lucky, the campers from the plot let the men barbecue there, the barbecue was then dumped in a dustbin on the beach as hot as it was. Our men noticed this and told the men that it was dangerous and the barbecue had to be put out. The strangers then became very aggressive and very loud. They didn't understand that it could start burning.

Baska is within walking distance. We stayed on a Premium Mare pitch for 2 weeks. The pitch was very small and the access road was also very narrow. The wash houses had not yet been renovated and there were far too few available. Because of Corona, the... pitch was far from full in August and at peak times we would have had to queue for ages at the wash houses. Another big disadvantage is that the beach in front of the campsite is public and therefore hopelessly overcrowded. There was already a lot going on here and it was supposedly only 50% of the usual occupancy in high season. The beach and the sea were very nice for the children as it was shallow for a long time. There are also 3 large water slides on the beach.
The pool area at the campsite is new but very small and only ideal for smaller children.

Discipline in the swimming pool too loose!Typical beach vacation in beautiful surroundingsWe had been back in Croatia for some time and chose the island of Krk! The place is at the opposite end of the island, which was no disadvantage for us. We were in the high season in August, and the campsite logistics were well suited to this. This doesn't work the same everywhere! This time we deliberately... sought a beach holiday with relaxation. The beach is beautiful and spacious, but of course quite crowded in August. As we were there with the mountain bikes, after a few days we switched to Bunculuca beach, which is much quieter and more manageable, but naturist! There in 10 minutes by bike! I also tried a few MTB tours, but it's no comparison to the Alps or the German low mountain ranges. A lot of scree on the routes, which is certainly typical of the country! We were in the rear area, newly renovated, on grass. We actually liked it better than the premium pitches at the front! A few words about the new swimming pool: Design: Small but nice! Really well done, two pools, one with a slide for children, and a small pool further to the front, which should be for everyone! We are neither fussy nor whingers, but it was not possible to relax there to any extent! The kids were jumping in and out of the pool, sometimes dangerously so. We are tolerant and don't complain when it splashes, but this was extreme! This should at least be kept within reasonable limits, which would be the job of the pool supervisor. We arrived at 7.45 am and there was already a queue of people in front of the reception to check in and out. 2nd check in, check out times are apparently handled according to sympathy or nationality. We had to wait 4 hours at the parking lot, although our room was free. But NO, no check in before 12 noon.... Strange that since we have been there, new guests check in BEFORE 12 noon AND even choose parking spaces. We could not do this. We were simply assigned a room whether we liked it or not. 3. the next shock.... Dog ban at the stand!!!! As dog owners, we ONLY choose campsites where the dog is allowed everywhere. WHY is it not mentioned anywhere here that dogs are not allowed on the beach? They are tearing our family vacation apart... WHY? Because we do NOT leave our dog alone in the bus at 33 degrees and for this reason we have to take turns going to the beach with our 3-year-old daughter. She doesn't understand why we DON'T go to the beach as a family and is sad about it! Thank you!!!!! 4. About the parking spaces during the waiting time... 20 parking spaces and 1 electricity cadet with 4 connections and that at a 4 star place.... Sorry but for us rather ridiculous! The only 2 positive points for us is the pool area... It may be small, but the children's hearts go wild, and the bar above the reception. Cool ambience, totally nice and friendly staff! Pitches mostly gravel, little grass and shade!Unfortunately no longer the campsite it once was!We have already been here 2 times at the campsite (2014 and 2016) since the last visit a lot has changed here! The cleanliness of the washing facilities has deteriorated dramatically and leaves a lot to be desired! Reception and entrance have been redone, but appearances at reception are deceptive. Pitches... in the upper part of the campsite are only gravel, almost no more meadows and trees! Furthermore, the beautiful playground no longer exists, only a very small one next to the reception and one downstairs next to the market in the blazing sun, which is totally outdated! The place itself is very nice, unfortunately everything is already extremely geared towards tourism and you can hear the loud music from all the bars and hotels during the day and at night, relaxing comfortably is something else. The prices in restaurants and bars have also risen enormously since our last visit! The beach is now very overcrowded and you have to make sure you find a small spot between the countless bathers! The cleanliness here also leaves a lot to be desired, in the morning there are numerous beer cans and empty alcohol bottles lying around on the beach and apparently nobody is responsible for clearing them away! This is certainly due to the fact that the actual camper is increasingly being replaced by mobile home renters. It's a shame really.
