Location and directions: Located at the beginning of Piano Sorrento in the Meta district on the right-hand side of the road (be careful, it's easy to miss and there's no turning back afterwards!). This is the first campsite along the coastal road, the coastal road itself is partly developed with a tunnel,... only about 5 to 7 km before Sorrento is there an old section of road with tight bends and inclines. Partly stop and go, a special kind of challenge with larger caravans. We were on our own with our large caravan, most of them with tents, very few with motorhomes because they were barely drivable. The campsite is located in the middle of the village, directly on the busy main road (clearly audible in the upper part of the campsite). Many restaurants and stores within walking distance. Check in: very friendly, everything familiar, free choice of pitch Pitch: earthy, dusty, some good shade trees, sufficiently large Sanitary facilities: substandard, no toilet seats, very old, repairs are obviously not carried out. Sink without hot water. Cleaning lady very concerned about cleanliness. Pool: like a sports pool in an outdoor swimming pool, depth at the end certainly 2.5 m, not suitable for small children or non-swimmers, otherwise a dream. Guests also come from the town to swim. Basically a good and quite nice place to go to Naples, Pompei and the Amalfi Coast, but the sanitary facilities were a challenge for us and justify the two stars in the overall rating
