"Small fine campsite - The pitches at the small Asseiceira campsite are set between olive and orange trees. This loosens up the site and makes it very pleasant. The clean sanitary facilities do the rest.

Kleiner gemütlicher Campingplatz in einem wunderschönen Olivenhain mit Blick auf die Burg von Marvão. Direkt vom Platz Spaziergang (5km) dorthin möglich. Ruhige Lage und doch nur wenige Gehminuten vom Dorf Santo Antonio das Areias entfernt, das 2 Restaurants, Cafés, Bars, …1 Lebensmittelgeschäft (tägl. geöffnet), 1 Apotheke und ein Hallenbad bietet. Täglich ausser Sonntags kommt der Bäcker auf den Platz. Seit 2024 neue Besitzer aus Österreich.

Directions from Lisbon Follow A1/IP1 North to Junction 7 – then take A23/IP6 towards Castelo Branco - Turn off at junction 15 onto IP2/E802 towards Portalegre – after 26 Kms at Alpalhão take N246 to Castelo de Vide then onto Portagem – follow signs for Marvão and after roundabout at Portagem take immediate right turn and follow road to Santo António das Areias – at petrol station turn right down the hill and the campsite is 400 metres on the left. Directions from Spain via Valencia de Alcántara From Valencia de Alcántara take N521 and cross into Portugal to Portagem - follow signs for Marvão and after roundabout at Portagem take immediate right turn and follow road to Santo António das Areias – at petrol station turn right down the hill and the campsite is 400 metres on the left.
