There is an area for everyone, for those who want it quieter and for those who need animation to get going.НегативиIf anything, everything here is steep.Something for everyone and everything that has been rated and written here is true.They try to offer something for everyone here, which I haven't seen before, but I think they've done it. There are absolutely great places with a view of the sea for romantics and travelers and at the same time, albeit separately, all-inclusive camping with tralala, as well as vamping in bungalows and... tents. Great beach incl. beach bar in Jamaican style, of course. And all this on a coast that became a Spanish tourist scourge 40 years ago. - Michaela J.September 2023ПозитивниThree beautiful bays below the campsite plus the proximity to Tossa de MarНегативиSanitary areas very outdated & cleanliness generally in need of improvementFantastic location, space but no 4*The campsite is situated above 3 small bays with crystal clear water and this is the main plus point of the campsite and of course Tossa de Mar is a very beautiful little town. Of course it is also touristy, but it has picturesque alleyways, nice restaurants, an old town etc & not the ugly concrete blocks... like in Lloret, Calella or similar. The place belongs to a French chain. They usually invest more in chalets than in camping. Staff at reception nice and helpful. We didn't use the pool or restaurant. We would come again because of the location, as we can live with the disadvantages, but I could not recommend the place without reservation.
For shopping in the supermarket outside the campsite or visiting Tossa you have to be mobile. So car, e-bikes or for very sporty people a bike. It is extremely steep up the mountain and you should be in good physical condition for the campsite or for the paths to the beach, pool, supermarket etc. (and this in sometimes very hot weather). Senior citizens or families with very young children should be aware of this. It was ok for us. The fact that the sanitary facilities are very basic in the south is also okay, but I rarely saw cleaning staff & generally the place seems poorly managed. Dog droppings everywhere, the areas around the garbage containers extremely neglected. Sometimes broken glass panes are placed next to the garbage, or the garbage flies in the wind onto the pitches on the slope below, I have seen several times that guests including dogs were in the sanitary building in the toilets or showers!!!! And although staff drive around the site all day, nobody seems to care. Large supermarket, but mini selection on site. The beaches can be reached via steep paths and steps. Not recommended for guests with poor physical condition or walking difficulties. There is also a nudist beach, which is also used by clothed people, which is incomprehensible,... as there are also very beautiful beaches without nudism. Perhaps this is also due to the fact that the nudist beach access is not clearly signposted.
The biggest drawback is that you have to pay for your expected stay in advance, even without a reservation. This was the first place where I had experienced this.
The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, missing or broken bolts and hooks have not been replaced.
The toilet paper dispensers are mostly unusable, they have a small hole from which the paper has to be pulled out. The paper usually gets stuck because it tears off. As a result, paper is often missing from all toilet cubicles. However, the dispensers are locked so that you can't use them.
The restaurant and supermarket were closed in October. Only baguettes and croissants were available in reception, groceries are only available in the supermarket about 1 km away outside the campsite. Difficult to reach without a car or pedelec via a steep road.
We were charged €10 for wifi for 2 days. I find this far too expensive, as this is usually offered free of charge on comparable campsites.

For example: in the men's showers the fluorescent tubes are missing in 3 out of 4 ceiling lamps, in the women's showers the coating is hanging from the ceiling, the steps to the beach are partly full of tree needles and dirt...... The advertised shuttle to the beach (a 10-minute walk downhill) can only be used by those who are reckless enough to push past the other waiting bathers. What we generally noticed here is the, shall we say, dubious behavior of many camping guests. After washing up, leftover food and empty bottles are just left behind, and at the pool a child peed in the green area right next to the sun loungers in full view of the parents. Although the bins for waste separation are clearly marked, residual waste ends up with the plastic waste.Dipl.Ing. (FH)Overall, I therefore give the site 3 stars rather than 4, also because the price/performance ratio is good. However, in the high season there is a high frequency of change (at least that was the case for us in the F area). The "beach bars" (I assume they don't belong to the CP, but if they do something should change) are - as already... mentioned - overpriced. The staff are unfriendly and make a bored/lustless impression. The staff in the restaurant is overwhelmed in the main time (2000h-2130h) and makes a haphazard impression. Orders (take away) did not work. Unfortunately, what is not mentioned is that the beaches drop off very quickly into the water and are covered with stones or large pebbles. It is not a sandy beach. Water shoes are recommended. Don't forget that you have to carry your equipment (tent) a long way, depending on the location, as you can rarely get there by car. The supermarket was very well stocked, at fair prices. The staff were always very friendly. The pitches were sometimes very uneven and steep. When booking a caravan pitch, be sure to state the length of the caravan, as some pitches are relatively short. Unfortunately, the site is less suitable for baby carriages or small children... due to the many steps and steep roads. The sanitary facilities were fine and clean. The food supply on site was sufficient and not excessively overpriced. The path to the beach is a bit of a hike, but you are rewarded with beautiful bays, typical of the Costa Brava. The middle one is also for naturists. Facilities, location, service, restaurant, supermarket, friendliness, German-speaking reception ... everything was perfect and very well tailored to the needs of campers. The restaurant, supermarket and bar were still in full operation, although there... were few campers. The pool was supervised; the beach bar down in the bay was slowly closing. The location of the campsite is not for the faint-hearted: lots of steps down to the sea, and lots of steps up to the sanitary building for the tent pitches directly at the front of the cliffs (Zone A) - but the fantastic view of the sea makes up for everything. Some of the pitches on the cliffs are separated from each other by hedges, making them very secluded and private. Camper and caravan pitches on the hill, with less visual contact with the sea but well terraced and with plenty of tree shade and numerous oleander bushes between the rows of pitches. Very large pitch that extends over the whole hill. The site is in a totally idyllic location about 3 km from Tossa de Mar. It is mountainous and you have to walk 500 m and about 100-150 meters uphill to the beach, which was a sweaty ordeal on the way back. The 4 different bays are simply enchantingly beautiful. Crystal... clear water, beach with approx. 3-4 mm grained pebbles, surrounded by steep mountains. Beach bar very nice - beer 0.5 l for about 4 €. Upstairs at the pool bar 3 €. Supermarket very cheap, sometimes cheaper than here. 0.33 l can of San Miguel 55 cents. Baguette 85 cents. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the toilets was a little negative, but this was certainly also due to the guests. The showers didn't always have hot water either. And you should use an ant repellent. With a tent you certainly have to have ground anchors with you ', you can't do much with normal pegs. The ground is rock hard. You should definitely look at your desired pitch beforehand - we were in the A area. It was very... quiet there and we had a great sea view - great beaches!!!! - you get fit on the climbs that you have to overcome every day :-) - the hiking trail to Tossa is great! - Sanitary facilities are good, but could be a bit cleaner (we were previously on another Cat. 1 campsite and it was much cleaner there) - the site could do with a bit more cleanliness overall (an employee swept the leaves and then poured them back into the bed) - water sports are offered on the large beach. We went diving. However, there should be more than just 8 diving spots; after all, the coast has a lot to offer!!!) - we would be happy if, for example, the small beach was made accessible to dogs. Our dog is a little water rat! After all, you pay 5 EUR / day for a dog. With four bays available, you could also divide it up. One dog beach, one nudist beach and the other two for everyone! Due to our enthusiasm for Tossa de Mar and the beautiful bays at the campsite as well as the location in the countryside, we would like to come back again.
