Welcome to Nouvelle-Aquitaine, where the La Gartempe campsite welcomes you from April to November. It has 50 pitches over 5 hectares and is located in a charming village in the Limousin region of Haute Vienne, in Châteauponsac, in a nature …reserve nicknamed the ‘Pearl of the Gartempe’. Our campsite is located in a green setting overlooking the Gartempe river and is ideal for a relaxing and fun holiday in a friendly atmosphere. Various species of trees, cherry, walnut or apple trees, will provide you with shade during your stay. You can enjoy the green and demarcated pitches as well as the various rental properties (mobile homes, chalets and cottages), the bar/snack bar and the terrace overlooking the Gartempe valley. This is the guarantee of a 100% natural stay in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, a break from the daily grind just a few metres from the centre of Châteauponsac with all its amenities and hypermarket. You won't need your vehicle to do your shopping here! In the high season, we offer the delivery of bread and pastries. Our snack bar is open from Friday to Sunday in the low and mid-season and every day from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm in July and August. Come and enjoy a good meal or snack after a nice hike on the many hiking trails in the Haute Vienne. The village of Châteauponsac in the Haute Vienne is full of history and tradition and offers a variety of activities and places of interest. Your pets are welcome in the rental accommodation at no extra charge. The campsite has a playground. For sporty holidaymakers, the campsite offers various bicycle routes. There is an entertainment programme. A hot tub is available for relaxation after an eventful day. The campsite has an outdoor pool and a paddling pool.

From the north on the A20 - Exit at junction 23.1 Chateauponsac. Follow the D711 to Chateauponsac. In the village of Chateauponsac, you will reach traffic lights. You should take the second road on the left (D711) signposted to Roussac …and the campsite. You will find the campsite shortly after this on the left hand side. From the south on the A20 - Exit at junction 24 Chateauponsac - Bessines sur Gartempe. Follows signs to Chateauponsac on the D711 and follow the above directions
