"Relaxed short break with a small town - Would love to come again. Very clean, centrally located, quickly accessible by bike Breisach, very quiet, nicely parceled pitches, nice helpful staff, after 7 pm the fuse on the electricity costs was changed.

"Quiet place near the border - The campsite is in a nice quiet location at the end of an island on the Rhine. The staff are nice when they are there. The pitches are overgrown with young grass and separated by high hedges. The numerous tall trees are great for the climate and shade, which of course limits satellite reception to a few pitches. The pitches are sufficiently large and level, the paths and quality of the sanitary facilities, water and electricity are OK. WLAN available. Sanitary facilities are always clean, the pitches are well maintained, the grass on the pitches could be mowed from time to time. I have read in other reviews it would be disturbed by cobwebs in the sanitary building. These are at a height of 4-5m in the pointed roof at the exhaust air windows, where the animals do an excellent job in my opinion. Everything is clean downstairs, it is cleaned several times a day. Now my criticism: The campsite is quietly located at the end of an island on the Rhine. This is unfavorable because the advertised bar and restaurant (in unity) are probably only open at weekends. The camping store, which should also offer fresh bread, is probably closed in the low season, at least for the time being. So every time you want to go out for a meal or get fresh bread or other snacks, you have to drive from the island (France) to Germany to do your shopping there. It's only a few kilometers, but it's time-consuming. WHAT is cheeky in my opinion is that they advertise with equipment that is only offered if it is economical. Yes, it is currently quite empty here, the daily opening of the bar / restaurant is not economical, but at least fresh bread could be offered by the campsite management. The advertised swimming pool was also not open. The games room could also be better maintained. There is a pool table where the cloth is so tattered (old, sewn tears and a fresh, gaping angle tear) that it is impossible to use it sensibly.

"Beautiful place, great location - Contrary to some older bad reviews, we can highly recommend this place! Sanitary very clean, paper/soap available everywhere Pitches nice, different sizes separated by bushes For us it is not bad if the hedges are not trimmed to the edge, the lawn is not trimmed to 5 mm and there are a few branches! Very friendly staff! Bread on site on advance order, and plenty of stores opposite in Breisach Water/ electricity/ sanitary facilities all within easy reach Table tennis/boules/badminton courts/basketball Top lighting without it being too bright So everything is great, we will definitely come back for a short vacation

"A great natural place - We spent a few days on this site over Whitsun. We were able to choose our pitch from many. Shady, sunny, larger smaller, everything was possible. The pitches are divided into lots and separated by bushes, the electricity connection is close by. Very friendly reception staff, clean sanitary facilities and a peaceful setting almost on the Rhine made the days go by too quickly. A campsite that can really be recommended.

"Light - The campsite is pitch black in the evening. The existing lighting is not switched on. Far too expensive for what is on offer

"Not recommended at all - Very unkempt place that in no way deserves such a rating. We will avoid this place in the future and certainly not recommend it to others!
