A little paradise on Lac de la Gruyere
We made a stopover on our journey to the south of France. This turned into six nights because we really liked it. The reception was very friendly and courteous. The pitches were generously parceled out and on grass. The sanitary facilities look completely outdated and sometimes dirty. There is only cold... water at the washing troughs. However, it is now possible to shower without chentons. Beautiful and attractive hikes can be undertaken from the site. Bus stop approx. 300 m from the campsite. Nice and attractive restaurant with a very tasty menu. Fortunately, dogs are only allowed in the upper part of the campsite.

A beautiful place
This campsite is really well located. Just 10 minutes from Bulle (FR) and close to Gruyère and Le Moléson. The spacious pitches all face the lake and are very well marked out. The nearby freeway is not a nuisance at all. The only downside: the sanitary facilities could do with a good renovation.

Beautifully situated place by the lake
On our motorcycle tour this year we also passed by here with our tent. We were given a very nice and friendly welcome. The registration was done quickly. After we had removed a few dog turds from our pitch, the air was also better. :-) The pitch is flat with a view of the lake, very nice. There is a... restaurant and a small store on the site, of course everything is expensive in Switzerland, but it's just about affordable for one or two nights. The washing facilities are small but adequate, just like camping. The lake is great and invites you to swim. The site is definitely recommended.

We are totally thrilled
We felt totally at home on this campsite. The pitches are very spacious and you can see the lake from every pitch. You can go on a hike from the campsite along the lake. If you are fit enough you can walk around the whole lake. The sanitary facilities are rather basic and you have to pay for hot water.... The reception is not always manned but you can call and choose a pitch, which is very straightforward. The restaurant is very cozy and the food was very tasty. There is also a small playground and a boggia run. The bus stop is not far away at the top of the main road. We will come back more often....We really enjoyed it.

Actually a nice location. However, miserable location for cyclists as there are no cycle paths along the roads. Touristically underdeveloped

See above. Sanitary facilities completely outdated. Price-performance ratio is simply not right, unfortunately as so often in Switzerland
Mediocrity
This campsite has a very friendly reception and looks attractive at first glance. However, the sanitary facilities are lousy and the whole atmosphere is terribly stuffy.

Swimming and stand up paddling and canoeing. Beautiful location on the lake.

Not even hot water at the washbasin is not exactly contemporary
Pity
The sanitary facilities are really outdated, kind of like they were 30 years ago. The electricity distributors are not exactly the best either, they don't seem very safe. Too bad because the location is nice and the restaurant also makes a good impression (if you can get a seat).

Noisy, dilapidated sanitary facilities, paying dog and no garbage cans, fairly expensive. Pitches not marked out.
Expensive and noisy
We stayed in July 2012 with our motorhome. Our pitch was in front of the toilets. Noisy most of the night, with no noise limit. Sanitary facilities outdated and not free of charge. No garbage cans.

We visited the campsite for a long weekend. The tourist pitches are on a large, well-kept meadow right by the lake. The staff were always very friendly. But what we didn't like at all, in fact we were very disappointed, were the sanitary facilities. They are outdated. You not only pay for hot water when... showering, but also when washing up. The children's toilet is in the same room as the chemical toilet emptying point, that's just not on!!! The toilets are without glasses, waste garbage cans are also only available sporadically and there is only one socket for the hairdryer. Too bad for the beautiful tourist sites and the beautiful Gruyère region.
