Good reception with Vodafone. Sanitary facilities are good, dishwashing facilities too. English is spoken at reception as well as French. Shuttle bus runs from the site to the station. The stay was reasonably priced.

The site is 90% occupied by permanent campers, only a few pitches are for tourists. Due to the bad weather, the pitch was very soggy and muddy. Almost all pitches have a significant slope. Reception with O2 is weak. WLAN is only available on parts of the site. The approach is steep, the site is very high. The shuttle bus only runs from 11:45 to 18:00. The restaurant is closed in winter.

Camping Gaalgebierg
Nice campsite on a hill and mainly in the forest with narrow access roads on the site. A challenge for a large caravan. Sanitary facilities are spotless and clean. The camping restaurant "Campingg Stuff" is well run and offers good quality and service.

Peace, relaxation, nice staff We were only there for one day It rained like a downpour and the site drained everything. Hardly any mud.

Uneven pitches
Recommended as a place to stay overnight
Beautifully situated on a hill above Esch, in a leisure area, adjacent to a small animal park, but also easily accessible for caravans. Quiet location, large pitches, but often not separated, with beautiful trees. The site is dominated by permanent campers. Sanitary facilities are in good condition,... but it is questionable whether they are sufficient when the site is very busy. There is a snack bar on the site itself. Shopping facilities in Esch. Manager very friendly and helpful. Well suited as an overnight stop from southern Germany in the direction of Belgium/Netherlands.

Neat pitch, somewhat remote on a hill. The pitches are not level, nothing works without large wedges. Small snack bar on site. Asphalted paths, waste separation, quiet location.

A place for a longer stay. We used it as a pitch for the city of Luxembourg The C-Pl. is situated at an altitude of approx. 375 m above the city. All around is forest and a park. There is a small free zoo right next door. You can get to Luxembourg "quickly" by train.
