Recommendation. Great place.
We were there in May 2023. Initially, we only wanted to stay for two nights, but then extended it to almost a week because we felt so comfortable.
All information is of course correct at this time.

Facilities: Everything you need is available. Sanitary blocks, supply and disposal, restaurant, beach... by the lake, playground, bread roll service, etc. We didn't miss anything. Very large pitches, by the way.

Location: Directly on a large lake. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with lots of opportunities for walks.

Cleanliness: Always clean. The sanitary facilities are simple, but very clean. The site as a whole has a natural and well-kept appearance.

Friendliness: We felt really welcome. Every question was answered in detail and with a desire to help. Nice conversations, friendly atmosphere - big praise for the operators / family and staff.

Price/performance is top.

Dogs: Are welcome. Of course, leash on the pitch, etc. But there are plenty of opportunities for long walks and free runs all around. Great for dogs!
The restaurant even offered treats and water for dogs. A campsite that doesn't advertise itself as dog-friendly, but does exactly that. Great.

We will definitely be back. A great place with tenants who are totally likeable and run everything with a lot of heart.

We can highly recommend the campsite.

The site is on a road with little traffic, the staff are very friendly and helpful, we had a pitch right by the lake, the playground is very nice and big. In my opinion, showering with coins is no longer up to date and also a bit annoying.

Super location right on the lake
The sanitary facilities are clean but getting on in years (pink frame with gray door takes some getting used to). Toilet paper must be taken along. The showers are very narrow, no proper drainage available. The arrival was friendly, there was even a welcome gift 😉. The meadow is not very straight, guys... may be required. Waste water connection is not available. On Sunday there are no bread rolls on site. There is a large play area for children, but unfortunately no football pitch. The service in the restaurant is good, the food okay.

Idyllic campsite
I'd love to come back. The bar has no room for a table and chairs! Eating therefore only possible outside. You have to rely on nice weather

A very beautiful spot in the Westerwald
Whenever we are in the Westerwald, our route is guaranteed to take us to the Haus am See at Dreifeldener Weiher. It's a really beautiful place in the middle of nature. The Haus am See offers very friendly hospitality (especially the nice waitress SONJA) and always something delicious to drink and eat. We are already looking forward to our next visit in September!

Shopping facilities and, as mentioned above, the ducks. The latter should not necessarily be seen as a disadvantage.
It is a very nicely located place, unfortunately a bit far from the supermarket.
We were there for the 2nd time. Staff very friendly, restaurant, sanitary facilities etc. good and clean. Unfortunately there are 6 ducks on site and their droppings are a bit annoying. There is nothing you can do! Overall always worth a trip!

We have been coming here for a long time now and it is always a quiet campsite that is ideal for switching off. Well organized and professionally run. Whether it's children, families, singles or seniors. Everyone experiences friendliness. There are good opportunities for swimming, hiking and relaxing.

very friendly, family-run, well-kept campsite. great for hiking, beautiful lake for swimming. Delicious food in the inn, very nice spots by the forest. Shopping facilities some distance away. pedal boat and rowing boat hire at the lake.

Pure peace and relaxation
I can agree with the previous speakers, everything is perfectly clean, camping with lake/pond view possible, permanent camper pitches very well maintained, many hikes possible from the site but also from here every place in the Westerwald is easy to reach. Two small minus points: The timer for the light... in the toilets goes out after what feels like 3 minutes, then you are literally sitting in the dark, unfortunately there was no bread service in mid-September, you have to drive 5 KM by car. Any time again

Beautiful vacation home and clean facility
It was our first time at Dreifelder-Weiher and we were thrilled. The caravan pitches are right on the lake and we had a fantastic view of the pond. The sanitary facilities were close by and very clean. My parents-in-law had rented a cottage on the site for three nights and were also delighted. The vacation... home was lovingly furnished and very comfortable. Everything was also very clean and there was no dust even in the smallest corners. The service was very friendly and helpful and you quickly realized that the business is run by a family with several generations. It was very quiet on the pitch and we were able to relax. There are many cultural attractions and places of interest in the surrounding area. We will be visiting the Dreifelder-Weiher more often in the near future.

The campsite is located directly on the Dreifelder Weiher and offers a lot of peace.the "loudest" were the seabirds.the staff is very friendly.the sanitary facilities are very clean,but in my opinion very sparingly heated.at night temperatures of partly - 4 degrees Celsius one would have expected about... warmth,if you have to go to the toilet early. The showers cost 50 cents each, but run for about 7 minutes and have very hot water (great). The hot water at the washbasins is free of charge, and there was always hot water in the separate dishwashing room, but you should not forget that this campsite is about 450 m above sea level and therefore generally a bit cooler in terms of temperatures, many hiking trails all around, also beautiful excursion destinations, bread service and gas bottle exchange all easily possible on the site.We have not visited the restaurant on the square, so we can not judge this.The plots have no direct division of each other, but are absolutely sufficient in size, so that no one moves the other on the famous Pelle.Price performance absolutely okay.Have paid for two people incl.Pitch with caravan and car only € 18.30 per day.Although the place is occupied by quite a lot of permanent campers, but no problems. In conclusion one can only say: A place to relax and unwind, in summer nice bathing possibility, lawn, playground and boat rental. Highly recommended if you want a lot of peace and quiet.

The service is impeccable. We were greeted warmly on arrival by the Schneider family (who run the campsite) and made to feel immediately welcome. The campsite has a beautiful location and we had a direct lake view of the Dreifelder pond. The sanitary facilities are very clean so that I could send my... children to the toilets on their own without hesitation. We have rarely seen such a well-kept sanitary building. In the immediate vicinity there is another building with several dishwashing facilities and a washing machine/dryer. The Schneider family is also very welcoming if you have any questions. When the child of a family friend was injured, we were given information about the nearest children's hospital and pediatricians as well as an emergency pharmacy. The Schneider family also gave the injured child a small consolation ice cream. There are many opportunities for families in the surrounding area. An adventure playground in the forest is within walking distance, a boat rental & playground is on the square and climbing park, animal park, barefoot park, swimming pool with sauna area, indoor playground, cinema, museum ... are all within easy reach by car. We will definitely be visiting the campsite more often.

Unfortunately, you sometimes have to cross the road because a large part of the pitches (also due to an additional meadow that can be used) are located outside the actual pitch. Sink in the washroom. And only one for men and one for women. You have to queue a little longer until it's your turn... Otherwise everything was okay.

Very nicely located campsite. Unfortunately the pitches are very dirty due to duck droppings. Pitches by the lake are very soggy. There was also a shortcoming in the ladies' sanitary facilities. There were no shelves for shower gel etc. in the shower cubicles. There was only one coat hook on which you had to unload everything. What a pity.

Pitch was good at each pitch are water and electricity connection. The owners of the campsite are very nice and also have a restaurant where there is also hot food or breakfast if you want. With us the pitches and also the lawn and the playground were all well maintained. We will go there again.

A cozy campsite run by a very nice family with a restaurant and delicious cakes. Sanitary facilities are very good and clean, nice campsite for a hiking weekend. A bit full of permanent campers but everyone was very nice. We were able to watch and photograph the birds very nicely, but they also make a lot of dirt on the site. We will definitely be back.
