Unfortunately, I can't see the point of this, because a float would do more damage to the model than the model would to the float! Unfortunately, I have to remove this place from my list. But there are other places that are also beautiful or more beautiful.Too bad, too badThe site is no longer an option for me because I have model submarines and the new operator has banned motorized models.
The site was not far from us, it was a good place to relax, there was hardly anything else on offer, but I was able to pursue my hobby well, especially on weekdays when there was little swimming activity.

There was a bit of chaos on site, as the reserved pitch was not fully available, but there were other campers who had extended their stay at the barbecue hut. However, there was still... enough space on the meadow.
The electricity connections are sparse and unfortunately too few. There is water in the wash house, but no waste water connections. Telephone and Internet (reception) is zero (O2), the WLan from the campsite is also very poor.
The lake is fun for SUPing or swimming. This was also gladly used. However, the cleanliness of the wash house was not very good.
On Saturday the wash house was cleaned at 07:00, why at this time?

In the end, we were allowed in and had to find a seat. We weren't allocated one. When we finally found one, we were quickly approached by several people who told us to be quiet. When we arrived at the... campsite, we were initially asked for a deposit of 200 euros (we still don't know what the deposit was for) without any prior notice, we were told how a group could even be allowed onto the campsite and the reservation was ignored. The deposit didn't have to be paid after all and we were allowed onto the pitch. When we arrived at the campsite, we saw lots of groups partying and wondered how this was possible with the campsite rules and the many instructions given to us beforehand. Despite everything, we were able to spend our time relaxing on the meadow. Either you allow groups and partying or you really have to enforce the site rules. But repeatedly pointing out that you're not actually wanted and then tolerating everything doesn't go together. The next morning, reception was much friendlier. In the ladies' toilets, 1-2 toilets were lockable, the rest of the toilets were not lockable. Some of the men's showers were not lockable. There were only two sinks for washing up in the wash house, which is clearly too few for the size of the site. The sanitary facilities were unclean. There was a "no dogs" sign on the tent meadow, yet there were lots of dogs on the meadow, which didn't really fit together.

There is a delicious bakery and a great organic farm store in nearby Wallensen. Shopping is great in Dingen. It's only 4 km away. At the kiosk you are half shouted at, our tent neighbors simply had their Bluetooth box taken away by him when they were... in the toilet (the box was off and when it was on it was always quite quiet) and right at the beginning they were told to just behave, otherwise they could leave again.
Many of them didn't have any privacy either, because suddenly someone came to "clear away" the garbage with tongs and write down what was where. Are you still there? It's not a problem if something is left somewhere. Everything was always tidied up and disposed of properly!
Then we and others went for a walk NEAR the soccer golf course. There, too, we were immediately snapped at.
And the sanitary facilities also leave a lot to be desired. There are far too few for so many campers.
But a lot has already been done! Especially at the back for the permanent campers! This must be emphasized.
I've been to this site many times. And I've always enjoyed being there. But the groundsman needs to change his character. He is destroying the experience and the relaxation we had hoped for there. So please, if you are reading this: Change your behavior - towards YOUR guests.
All in all, it is still worth choosing this place. We paid for our family when we registered. We didn't get a note for the car or a map of the campsite. One of our cars arrived with a trailer, 2 beer tent sets and 2 fridges on it. When the groundsman saw this he just said: you don't... even need to unload, we're not a party place! The weekend temperatures were 34 degrees. A friend who arrived later was immediately told that we already had a yellow/red card and would be thrown off the pitch the next time we did something. Nobody knows what it's for and nobody can even tell which group is on the pitch. My brother wasn't even allowed onto the pitch on Saturday because he wasn't registered. I then had to walk to the front of the street and argue with the groundsman, who said that no tent would fit on the meadow. After I told him that he was registered and was sleeping in our 3-cabin tent, he said "and the car? I then explained to him that there was space there. He was then allowed on it but the announced control of the gentleman also failed to materialize. Totally disorganized! Water in the shower container was cold (as a reminder at the family meadow) and in the red wash house there was hardly any water coming out of the tap, all three days! We ordered 33 rolls and paid for them, there was no receipt, the lady said it was all here in the book. Well, when we picked them up, a "friendly" fat man with a beard told us: I'm not a factory. He gave us 22 rolls and we were happy with that. The same man also does the pedal boat hire! One child asked for a bucket because there was so much garbage floating in the water: I don't care, he replied. Later, the girl came with a full bucket of garbage and asked where she could dispose of it. His answer: why do you always come to me, I don't know. Dump it somewhere. We received a friendly welcome and were allowed to choose a place on the upper tourist meadow. Attention here applies, where it fits is placed ... No order and some people just don't think ... 🙄
Unfortunately, there wasn't a single tap to be found on the whole meadow... so... always head for the wash house. A lot of renovation work is being carried out on the upper one, so there are only makeshift containers here. Like the other wash houses, it was always kept spotlessly clean. The dirt that unfortunately many people leave behind is sometimes beyond words!
The site itself is well maintained, the permanent campers are all friendly and the site staff are helpful and very friendly! The lake is great and invites you to linger. You can also go for a nice walk... Playgrounds all well maintained and playable. Attention dogs not allowed at the lake!
You can order bread rolls at the kiosk, there is what you get at the kiosk... the gastronomy still has a lot of room for improvement... lots of chips and junk food.

Even a permanent pitch... is far too overpriced given the condition. The jetties are life-threatening. There's a sandworks a few meters away and I wonder why no one has come up with the idea of dumping a few tons on the lake to make a really cool beach?
In my opinion, the operator has never seen other places or doesn't put his heart and soul into it (only sees the profit of the permanent campers). Give me a bit of start-up capital and this will be a 5***** site.
I'm sorry but this unkempt site doesn't deserve more than 2 stars.

When we asked for a quiet spot, we were directed to a wonderful pitch separated by hedges, which was central but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The lake is a dream. Refreshing, crystal clear and... beautiful. There are lots of little wooden walkways around the lake, so you don't have to walk far. The toilet block is currently being renovated and the ladies can already shower in the newly renovated area. The new tiles are very tasteful. It will be very nice. We had our folding bike with us, so it was a quick walk to the toilet. Through the back door you are immediately with the dog in the forest and surrounded by many hiking trails, which are very well signposted. Dogs are only allowed to swim in the nearby Bruchsee lake, which was no problem for our four-legged friend as he doesn't like swimming anyway.
