In this side valley at the beginning of the Tarn you are far away. The pitches are spacious. The highlight for me was the small pond or dammed-up area of the Doux where you can swim, with a sandy beach. It was pure idyll for me. The owners were very friendly and helpful and relaxed with my dog. If it's... important to you that the sanitary facilities are separated into male and female, you won't be happy here. But you can't complain about the prices. I would love to come back!

...sometimes you get a visit from a friendly toad in the shower. That frightens some people. But the toad is kind and doesn't do anything.
My favorite campsite...
A beautiful, small, natural site on the banks of the Doux. The individual pitches are separated from each other by different hedges and trees, there is always enough shade and sun for all needs and beautiful bathing spots in the immediate vicinity of the river. There is no risk of flooding as there is... a meadow with a sufficient gradient between the site and the river. The campsite managers are very friendly and helpful, and they cook well! The small snack bar on the campsite is actually a small brasserie that is really worth recommending. Wonderfully composed salads, for example, steaks, mussels, excellent home-made chips, etc. There are lots of hiking opportunities of various levels of difficulty, markets in the south of France, 2 small towns nearby and a very pretty little village right next door, and you can go canoeing on the Rhône.
