We spent a night there on our way back from the south. We had chosen the site based on the good reviews and unfortunately didn't pay attention to how far it was from the highway - our own fault! In principle, the site is really attractively laid out and has a nice covered swimming pool and a children's... pool with slides. At reception you can order bread for the next day or treat yourself to an ice cream on a stick - that's it. The restaurant was closed (June 2). We had one of the approx. 50 Stop&Go pitches with electricity + water for €17.50, on which you can theoretically stand coupled up. In practice, however, this doesn't work for larger caravans as the bay is a little too short. It didn't matter to us, because apart from us there were only 2 Dutch caravans in the area, one of which had also unhitched. We were slightly in the way, but it worked. The sanis for this parking area are rather "well" and the color is a source of eye cancer (mint green with pink). The sanitary facilities for the 60 or 70 comfort pitches for longer stays, which are still available, are more plentiful and more moderate in color. Incidentally, there was 1 camper van and 1 mini tent in this area - that was it. If you don't just want to use the site for an overnight stopover, it makes more sense, although Lyon, for example, is still some distance away. And the arrival/departure is relatively inconvenient and a bit difficult for larger caravans (heading north is only about 10-15 km on the car route). But there's nothing wrong with the site itself if you know what you're getting into.

A well-deserved 4-star pitch just outside. Top pitches on a well-kept lawn in front of and behind the barrier. Small hedges offer some privacy. Can be recommended!

Almost too good for a stopover
We used the site as a stopover in the south. You can certainly stay here for a few days. The staff are very nice, the restaurant is cheap and good. The sanitary facilities are okay, the pitches are great and there are plenty of things for kids to do.

Camping in a good location
Beautifully laid out and well-kept campsite with small restaurant with outdoor terrace, swimming pool, pond, small supermarket. Approx. 15 km from the highway heading south. Very well-equipped, level, separate overnight pitches in front of the barrier, where you can stand coupled up. All with electricity, close to the wash house. Very competent and friendly reception.

Very friendly....
Used the site as a stopover on the way home from Spain. Registration was very uncomplicated and friendly, facility and sanitary very clean. and even later there was a little something to eat. will certainly go there again or stop there......

Beautifully landscaped square
The campsite and the pitches are beautifully laid out, partly parceled out by hedges. The adjacent stream is great for children to play in. The pool area is usually overcrowded and there are not enough sun loungers. The children love the slides. Catering virtually non-existent. Overpriced pizzas and... chips, baquettes and croissants to order in the morning, which were not particularly tasty. Better to drive 3 km to the nearest boulangerie. We were there for 14 days; our children got bored at some point because there were no German children (high season July/August) and there is only a small playground. The campsite is firmly in Dutch and French hands. Germans only use the stop-and-go site (which is also great) as a stopover.

The campsite is a huge area. There is a stop and go area in front of the campsite, where caravans and motorhomes can park for the night and then leave again early in the morning. The sanitary facilities are very good and heated, and the pizzas from the small restaurant were good. It has a huge meadow... with various sports fields, a large biotope and fishing pond, and there is even a small dog grooming trail. There are no great walks directly outside the campsite. The wifi is not that fast and the internet of the telephone companies is not outstanding either

Absolute recommendation, for transit or longer
We have been there three or four times now, our ideal place for the outward or return journey to the south coast or to Spain. A very nice campsite close to the N7/A7 south of Lyon near Vernioz. We like to use the roll-on roll-off pitches in front of the campsite. Gravelled driveway and small grassy area... in front of the camper van, so it's great! The sanitary facilities at the pitch are new and okay, but there is no separation between men and women. If this bothers you, you can use the facilities inside the Cp (with hand shower). There is also a nice swimming pool with a slide. There is even a well-maintained tennis court. There is no store on site, but you can order bread rolls or baguettes in the restaurant for the next morning. We've tried other places nearby, but we always like it best here and are already looking forward to the next time.

The campsite, idyllically and quietly situated by a small stream, offers large pitches, which are broken up by hedges. The site is also one of the most beautiful I have ever seen, with a very large meadow area and a small pond. For children, the site offers a lot of variety (outdoor pool with slides,... sports field, small stream, playground), older teenagers will probably want a little more "life" on the site after a few days, and the "Tante Emma" store on the site offers a small selection of the most important groceries, red wine, white wine, etc. ;-) Baked goods can be pre-ordered there the day before. The restaurant in the same complex offers a small selection of dishes, including pizza. Although the campsite was no longer fully booked, the sanitary facilities were often at the limits of their capacity, i.e. there were too few. How to get there: The campsite is actually located on the western edge of the village of "Le Gontard" which - in and of itself - offers nothing!!! In the neighboring village of "Saint-Alban de Vareze" there is a small delicatessen, a very good butcher's store and a highly recommended restaurant (west end of the village). For larger purchases, you have to drive in the direction of Cour-et-Buis or straight to Vienne. In summary, it can be said that this is a very beautiful, albeit remote and therefore quiet place, which, at least during our stay, is mainly used by families with children. Finally, I would like to emphasize the extremely courteous and polite treatment at the reception.

This was our second time on this site this year, admittedly as a stopover. Nevertheless, we stayed longer again because this site is simply great (from the facilities to the size of the pitches and the visual design of the whole site). The swimming pool, which has now been upgraded with a larger slide,... is also great. There are really plenty of leisure facilities here. Anyone visiting the site, even as a stopover, should note that you have to pre-order bread in the evening. Conclusion: A very nice, relaxing campsite that is suitable for more than just a stopover. If we go back to the Mediterranean, we will definitely visit the campsite again and stay longer.

Very well-kept garden, mostly large, parceled pitches, the existing bouncy castle was unfortunately only sporadically inflated every 2-3 days - a pity...
