Fair, easy place to visit the city
The municipal campsite is located on the outskirts of the small town, no more than 500 m from the center. An ideal location for exploring the town, the famous church with the paratrooper hanging from it and the magnificent "Airborne Museum" right on the market square.
On the campsite, the loosely parceled... out pitches are all on grass and are well sized. Some also offer light shade.
The reception is friendly and - due to the very international clientele - also English-speaking. There is a small store for regional specialties in reception, but unfortunately no bread roll service, so you have to cycle/walk into town in the morning.
The (unisex) sanitary facilities are very basic and mostly clean, there are even toilet seats. At the entrance to the campsite there is a convenient station for VE, which is not common at every "municipal".
You can make nice tours by bike, and at 12 km it's no problem to get to Utah Beach.
All in all, a good and reasonably priced place to visit a place steeped in history, perhaps not so much to spend your annual vacation there.

The site is perfect for reliving the Allied landings in June 1944. From the CP you can walk to the center in 5 minutes, the place lives from this event in 1944.

Pure relaxation.
Very friendly owners. Historic surroundings. A small, clean campsite that can accommodate motorhomes up to 10 meters in length.

+ location on the edge of town, only a few minutes' walk to the center; all stores on site; + level, large, grassy pitches; + electricity boxes with ECC connections; + friendly and helpful staff (French and English spoken); + bread/baked goods can be pre-ordered at reception; + quiet location, but site... frequented by motorhomes, therefore a lot of driving back and forth/arrival and departure :(, especially in the morning hours. + Sanitary facilities clean and functional, sufficient number; + Showers clean and all with preset hot water temperature (not adjustable); + Residual waste container at the entrance to the campsite, waste separation desired: plus recycling container in front of the campsite (for glass, paper, plastic); + WLAN access free of charge (one free access code available per day of stay (this is valid for 24 hours and for one terminal device each); WLAN reception very good;
