- Wolfgang B.August 2017ПозитивниInexpensive, flexible, clean, friendlyНегативиA little noisy during the dayGood place to stay overnight, but also recommended for several daysWe stayed here for the 4th time, this year for 3 days. Bicycle tours around Langres easy to prepare on the Internet, sightseeing (5 min walk to the city center) recommended, swimming in the Lac de la Liez, all good. You can arrive and depart at any time, reception manned from 17.30, very friendly, German-speaking.... Showers and toilets clean, but can only be used with a code. Bakery around the corner, nice restaurants in the city center, even a McDonalds. Shopping at Lidl or Aldi, if you like. Unfortunately sometimes a bit noisy due to the main road below. Ok at night. We will be back!Автоматично преведено.
- Norbert T.June 2017ПозитивниFriendliness, highway nearby, good value. Womo, 2 pers, electricity 15€НегативиSanitary could use a renovation.Good place to stay overnight.Very friendly reception by an eloquent CP manager. Choose your pitch, park your car, ready, the reception is manned from 5 p.m. It can take a while to register. Only 2 electricity columns in the upper part of the site. Too few cables? The boss will help. The pitches directly on the city wall offer a great view, but are also susceptible to wind. 3 days we stayed this time, also to have a look at the city of Langres.Автоматично преведено.

- Carsten G.September 2016Позитивниgood transit area, close to the highway nice location close to the cityNice place right next to the old town - good transit area!We used the site for an overnight stay and were pleasantly surprised. Nice welcome in German, town center in five minutes on foot with restaurants and bakery and great location within the old city wall with partial distant views from the pitchАвтоматично преведено.
- T. R.October 2015Again and againThis place is a must for us on every trip to F. The location, the place itself (as a self-contained ensemble) is certainly worth a detour. And it's also a good place to visit the surrounding area. And obviously a campsite works for most visitors without barriers and rigid opening hours. The extra latecomers and extra early drivers, who used to want to save on overnight fees in this way, are now elegantly thwarted.Автоматично преведено.
- Richard W.July 2015ПозитивниVery nice place with a real city wall.Surprise, very nice place. We were only looking for a place to stay when we were passing through and were positively surprised by the location and the campsite. A beautiful view from the pitch, directly over the town of Mauer. You should arrive by 16.00, after that there can be a traffic jam at the registration. (July)Автоматично преведено.
- Kerstin I.May 2015ПозитивниBeautiful, flat pitches, some with a wonderful view Good and clean sanitary facilities Friendliness in several languagesНегативиnoneA good stopover on the way southThe site offers pitches with wonderful views, good, clean sanitary facilities and an extremely friendly manager who is happy to speak German or Dutch with his guests. There is also plenty of information on leisure activities. You can walk around the small town on the completely preserved town wall and... look far into the countryside again and again. Why Langres is one of the 50 most beautiful towns in France, however, was not clear to us. But maybe it was because of the rainy weather. We would use this place as a stopover on our way south at any time. If the weather is good, it's certainly worth staying a little longer to explore the surrounding area on foot or by bike.Автоматично преведено.
- Heidrun S.September 2014ПозитивниProximity to the highwayНегативиnonegood transit pointIf you arrive early, you can still find pitches with a wonderful view over the landscape. Very friendly staff, clean sanitary facilities, access only with code number. You should definitely take a stroll through the adjoining old town.Автоматично преведено.
- Ulf D.April 2014Good transit pointConvenient location in the historic city center, but on a busy street (moderate noise level); friendly, multilingual reception; large and clean sanitary building; good power supply with 10A; often used as a transit/overnight pitch;Автоматично преведено.
- Euramann S.April 2014ПозитивниBeautiful location, old town, shopping facilities, friendliness at RECEPTIONНегативиnone detectedA really great location. Right next to the beautiful old town with lots of cafes and restaurants. We arrived around 2pm and there were only 3 pitches occupied. We booked a nice spot with a great view on the city wall. The reception opens at 5.00 pm. Don't rush there immediately, otherwise there's a risk... of traffic jams. Man speaks German. Bakery and ALDI in the immediate vicinity. Sanitary building pico bello clean. Washing machine, dryer, ironing room, seating area with table, freezer, everything available and everything clean. Will stay longer on our next visit and explore Langres properlyАвтоматично преведено.
- Philipp P.August 2013ПозитивниExcellent, unrivaled cheap transit site, very friendly welcome, beautiful old town, all necessary infrastructureНегативиSpace in a 24-hour cycle: everything leaves between 8 a.m. and 12 noon, after which the space fills up again every dayA cult institution...... is a place known to all passionate travelers to the south of France. On the way to your vacation, you might spend the night just over the border in Metz or Verdun - but if you still have time and nerves, leave Nancy and Neufchâteau behind you and drive along the A31 towards the A7 / N7, the 'Routes... de Soleil' - then you will arrive in (or rather pass by) the ancient fortified town of Langres. As it is situated above a valley on a hill, you have to work your way up the winding road. The gherkin is compensated for by the magnificent view in good weather, which you can enjoy in all directions from the town wall (I have also posted pictures of this). The Camping Municipal Le Navarre is now also located directly on the city wall. In the 1980s, its simplicity could not be surpassed and yet it was already very popular with campers - there was no proper sanitary building and washing was done in the open air. Nowadays there is a modern, attractive and clean building with lots of individual cabins, and the site itself is still as it was back then, but well-kept and clean. The reception is not manned during the day; whenever you arrive, you choose a free pitch, settle in and register in the evening from 5 p.m. (of course, this requires a little patience if the pitch has filled up during the day). The reception is remarkably friendly, a municipal employee is fluent in English, Dutch and German, but will also do it in French on request. The costs are more than reasonable, we paid ten euros (!) for two people with a caravan and electricity for the night in 2014. Access to the sanitary building is via code, but you can also enter without prior registration with a replacement code (0000 or something similar) after arrival, which can be seen on the notice board - so you don't have to pinch your cheeks together until 5 pm. :-) Speaking of baking: there is a huge selection of bread and rolls 100 meters from the campsite in a boulangerie that you passed on arrival. Of course, you have to walk over the city walls and through Langres in the evening, where you can buy a bottle or two of Bourgogne wine from the region as well as any supermarket supplies. Apart from the old town, there is not much else spectacular to see, so there is hardly any reason to stay more than one or two nights - but I have felt wonderfully comfortable up there for decades, the nights are quiet and "Le Navarre" is therefore one of the first addresses for those passing through Bourgogne. Tip: if you arrive too late in the evening and the site is full, simply continue south on the D974. After 16 kilometers, turn left to Villegusien-le-lac, where "Camping du lac" (also rated) offers a charming alternative by the reservoir. Here you can go for a nice walk/bike ride in the evening, and there is even a small swimming pool to cool off in. The site is also inexpensive and offers a bread service.Автоматично преведено.
- Rosemarie S.June 2013Ideal as a transit site, German-speaking, the boss very friendly, everything you could wish for available. We even took a nice bike ride along the nearby canal, although we then had to tackle the very steep climb back. We recommend arriving in the late afternoon, as the site fills up in the evening and empties again the next day.Автоматично преведено.
- Thomas F.June 2012Unfortunately, you can't book your stay here. When we asked, we received a friendly reply that we should arrive around 5pm and then it would work out somehow. And so it was. On the way home from the south, we were really looking forward to our stopover in Langres. But first we had to queue at reception... for at least half an hour. The campsite must be a popular stopover, especially in the Netherlands. That was quite annoying. We also experienced that some campers who arrived after us left again. So you need a plan B! Unfortunately, the campsite doesn't have enough power connections, and the ones that were available have different plug standards (so it's helpful to have adapters and long cables). So we couldn't take 2 very nice, free pitches because there were no free connections and in the evening the European Championship quarter-finals were on TV. But with the help of the very friendly manager we found a place. For this we needed a long cable that had to be laid across the path. In many places, the CP is uneven and sloping, so that it is sometimes difficult to get the WW into a horizontal position. But once everything was in position and Astra was running, we were able to explore the really beautiful old town of Langres on foot. We were really impressed. We can really only recommend it. We also found a small restaurant and really enjoyed our stay here. The ambience of this campsite is unique! The sanitary facilities are amazingly good for a municipal site. High praise for that! Because of the great price-performance ratio, we give it 4 stars +++ without hesitation!Автоматично преведено.
- Nicole S.June 2010We had to make an emergency stop at this campsite due to a car breakdown. We felt we were in good hands. They were very accommodating and friendly. The campsite manager speaks fluent French, German and English. Highly recommended as a stopover campsite. Less suitable for a longer stay. Beautiful old town, clean sanitary facilities.Автоматично преведено.
