Unfortunately, I was unable to travel because we were affected by flood water ourselves and I was tied up with the fire department. We helped people who were facing existential ruin and were housed in emergency accommodation. A request for reimbursement of the €152 paid was denied... with the remark that all vacationers must be treated equally. The remaining amount to be paid was not requested.

Gravel pitches that are under water after the rain. No hand shower in the showers (really stupid for children) In the kiosk bread rolls without exception against pre-order (baked rolls or bread must be packed) Price performance is not good at allChildren not wantedThe person in charge apparently doesn't like children. The lake and the nature are great, which is why we've enjoyed coming here again and again over the years, but we simply can't and don't want to afford it any more With 2 children and a small dog, you now pay over 90 euros a night to "camp" here!... Prices have tripled in the last 6 years. Camping used to be a vacation for families on a tight budget, but since it became a trend, the municipality has squeezed every cent out of this place. Most of the pitches have been reduced in size and a layer of gravel and stones has been spread over the grass, which is rather unsuitable for children. Day visitors to the lake are encouraged by signs to use the campsite's wash houses, and as the showers are free of charge, they make good use of them. Conversely, this means long queues at the toilets and showers. There are 7 showers for the entire campsite. And as a result, there is not a drop of hot water left after 4 p.m., neither for washing up nor for showering the children after a strenuous day of hiking. This then ends in a terrible shouting match because A. the water is simply freezing cold and B. The showers are screwed so high up (without a hand shower) and you have trouble rinsing the shampoo off the kids' heads without accident, most of it gets into their eyes and burns. The place has also degenerated into a race track. In the past, there were employees who paid attention to walking speed, but now - when they are there - they go so fast with the tractor that you fear for your life. Even if you put the children on a short leash, you have to think about what happens if a child or animal comes out of the side path and the driver reflexively swerves out of the way? With the narrow paths and pitches packed to the last millimetre, it's only a matter of time before something bad happens.Автоматично преведено.

However, the majority are reserved for permanent campers. The eastern part offers very large pitches, there is privacy here, above the buildings it is a little more cramped. There is also a kiosk with good food. The sanitary area is good, except... for the 3 showers which can be used by "all" genders, despite being informed twice, there are neither shelves nor coat hooks. We were certainly not the first to complain about this. Reutte is about 5 km away if you want to do a little shopping. There is a bread roll service on site with high prices, well, they have to be delivered and packed! However, the pricing for dogs is completely outrageous, they cost 1 €
less per day than an adult, but get nothing in return except a poop bag at the start of the hiking trail.

It won't be too much longer and then there will be water slides and roaring entertainers - and then the uniqueness, the last refuge for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet, will be over. And why have one-way street signs everywhere that nobody follows anyway? Jerzt to my headline. In 28 years of camping in Europe and America I have rarely experienced anything so bad. Organization is zero. A guest is "squeezed" into every inch of space. Sometimes not even a meter of space between... the caravans or motorhomes. Fire protection? Guests are even placed right next to the garbage and waste water disposal areas. On the tent meadow, perhaps attention should be paid to how big the tents are instead of just paying attention to the number of parking spaces - seems to be geared towards small tents. Kiosk staff unfriendly. Tell something different every day. You want to rent a canoe, they were reserved which is perfectly ok. What is not ok is that you then want to make a reservation yourself the next day and it is supposedly not possible to make a reservation. In addition, the new wash house is full of mold although the cleaning staff regularly ventilate seems to be another problem? Place totally overpriced for what you get offered. Unfortunately, the fact that you can have a nice vacation has probably faded into the background and the numbers have come to the fore, at least that's how it seems. The place is run very professionally. The new (!) sanitary facilities would suit many a hotel. You can go hiking, mountain biking, swimming or SUPing on the lake. The pitches are very cramped when there is a large crowd, some are right next to the recycling... yard; perhaps 25m of power cable is not enough. Compared to the kiosk on the site, it's cheaper to shop at the ICE, so you always have to drive to Reutte (+-12km). PLace #33 has a dog wastebasket right in front of them, not really fresh.Camping Sennalpe, tranquility, beautiful lake, beautiful mountainsWe were actually there just too early, before high season. Because of this, there was little to do for our daughter. The Plansee is an incredibly beautiful lake, beautiful blue-turquoise water. We were on pitch 33, right in front of a new sanitary building and (dog poop pit). Had the advantage of not... having to walk far to toilet, shower. Disadvantage of course, that the view was gone. You couldn't see more from that spot. The places with lake view were in my opinion mainly reserved for permanent campers. There were plenty of them. We were also almost surrounded with caravans. few Dutch people on site. A little further on there was a few lanes for the regular caravans/tents, but they were all occupied by divers for that weekend. Environment is beautiful. We took a very nice walk from the campsite around the lake, or well, up to the Seespitze campsite. From there you could in fact take the boat back to Sennalpe. The reception of Sennalpe is in hotel Forelle, where you can eat delicious food. I think there were 3 sanitary buildings; 1 in front at the entrance of camping, 1 in the middle (where we stood) and 1 further on the camping. I can only rate the middle building, I did not see the other 2. The showers were spacious, clean, with fixed water heads and good spray. The restrooms were clean and adequate in pre-season. This building looked newer than the other 2 buildings. We unfortunately did not have such good weather (rain and cold), so after 5 days we moved on to Italy (South Tyrol), where it was warm. For lovers of silence it is an ideal campsite in pre-season. Too quiet for us.Автоматично преведено.

A dream!!! The location of the lake is unique and the turquoise color almost makes you think you are in the Caribbean! The sanitary facilities were always super clean and the entire staff was always friendly and courteous.... Great starting point for many hikes. Refreshments available at the Musteralm. The lake is absolutely quiet, no animation, no motorboats, no pedal boaters, just absolute nature. It's good that something like this still exists! A site dominated by permanent campers. Pitches freely selectable for vacationers! The site is beautifully situated and very quiet right by the lake. The sanitary buildings are tidy and clean. One of them is new and modern! Fresh bread rolls are... available from the kiosk if ordered in advance in the evening. The surrounding area offers many excursion possibilities. We tried out the "Highline 179" suspension rope bridge in Reutte. After some initial skepticism regarding the negative comments about friendliness, we were pleasantly surprised as soon as we checked in. Super nice from the reception to the site briefing to the departure. The shower blocks are... brand new. The toilet block, where the reception used to be, is older. All the facilities were well maintained. The view over the lake is fantastic. The lake itself is easy to navigate by canoe, kayak, folding boat and SUP. Our children and we had a lot of fun despite the 15 degree water temperature. At reception (Hotel Forelle) you can get great tips for leisure activities. It's really worth exploring the surrounding area. We went to Ehrenberg Castle and ventured over the 113-metre-high "Highline 179". The campsite itself doesn't offer much in the way of leisure activities. However, a medium-sized playground was able to keep our three children well in check. There is no children's entertainment. But there doesn't have to be. The lake, the mountains and the surrounding area offer enough to keep you busy for a week or more. The Sennalpe campsite mainly accommodates permanent campers. We can't say anything about the second site - Seespitz. And once again on the subject of friendliness: as I said, we were pleasantly surprised and didn't miss the opportunity on Sunday to ask how the "change of heart" came about. Both campsites were taken over by the Breitenwang agricultural community. We don't know when exactly and whether they were founded specifically for this purpose. What is much more important, however, is that they reacted to the negative criticism with a change of personnel. We can only hope that the friendliness we experienced will last.
