Our field team is out and about on the site every day. As our site covers 30 hectares, they can't always be everywhere. Therefore, please contact our reception if we can help you with a request.
As the Elbe dyke site is located in the Tiedeelbe nature reserve, it is unfortunately... not permitted to erect permanent or larger wash houses there. With the mobile facilities, we offer our campers an additional service in summer when things need to be done quickly. Otherwise, the large sanitary building on the main site is available to all guests at all times.

As our Elbe site is a nature reserve, unfortunately no further or larger wash houses are possible. In addition, the waste water has to be pumped out and transported away as there is no sewage system. You are welcome to use the large sanitary building on the main site, which is accessible to all campers.

If you have not yet made a reservation with us, you can do so spontaneously at our reception or at the check-in machine. If you book on the Elbe site, you can simply drive through the barrier using license plate recognition. We have not yet... noticed any major errors here, but we will be happy to check this. If you book on the main site, you will also need a barrier card, which the machine will give you when you book. If you have any questions or problems, you can always contact reception, which is open every day.

With a lot of patience, she made everything possible shortly before our camper meeting so that we could finally stand together on Elbe 12. The stay was much better than the year before where there were many misunderstandings and even the threat of... a break-off on our part. Now let's move on to what we didn't like so much. For the number of campers in the area, there are clearly too few showers and toilets on the site. At the price per night, this could certainly be better. It is also unfortunate that you can no longer register as a group. That was easier in the past. In the Elbe 12 area, also called Pepperwiese, it was always perfect to be able to register and stand as a group. Of course you have to change things to make it better. But in my/our opinion this was a step in the wrong direction.
The rapid price increase per day compared to the previous year is also striking and forces me and the group to choose a different location for the future. After researching and looking at other pitches that are also located on the water, we found that they are cheaper and groups are welcome.
It was good that the showers and toilets were cleaned regularly and the garbage disposed of. As for the sinks, the hot water was rather lukewarm.
We found the new barrier system with license plate recognition a good thing. This means that access is well regulated.
We have been there for 6 consecutive years with a good 15 campers for a week and have had a great time. But for the reasons mentioned above, we will now change our orientation, but will continue to observe how things develop with you.

The shepherd's wagon is equipped with everything you need for breakfast or a simple meal. Everything is very clean and lovingly furnished. There is also running water in... the caravan, which is a relief for washing up or washing your hands. The only thing missing is a toilet. But that wasn't a problem either, as the mobile toilet and shower block was right opposite. Everything here was also very clean and tidy. Swimming in the Elbe is no problem at all and thanks to the beach chairs and the small beaches, you could make yourself comfortable wherever you felt like it. All the staff were super nice. There was a really nice atmosphere on the campsite. We were very enthusiastic about our stay at Stover Strand and will definitely come back again.
