- Thomas M.June 2024ПозитивниAs the campsite is at risk of flooding, you may be surprised by this one more timeНегативиThere are still traffic signs, but it is closed to people passing through.Only for permanent campersSince all the facilities are locked, it's no use trying to set yourself up there.Автоматично преведено.
- Bruno B.September 2023Позитивни- location - nicely shaded - very clean sanitary facilities - very friendly site manager - departure also possible after 12 noon without costs in the low season - beautiful walking paths - Emme bathing area next door - no through traffic - extremely quiet despite proximity to the cityНегативи- Access via narrow stone bridge 2.70 m, possibly difficult for wider trailers, mine was 2.35 m and worked fine - Rather expensive for existing infrastructureNice, quiet campsite close to the cityIf you love peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Simple pitch with all the essentials. Very clean sanitary facilities! Very friendly site manager Manuela. 10 m from the Emme, which is great for swimming. Shady and sunny pitches. It was just great. 10 minutes walk to Burgdorf! The access road leads over a 2.70 m wide stone bridge. A bit tricky but doable (2.35 m vehicle)Автоматично преведено.
- sara d.August 2020ПозитивниPlace directly on the Emme Very clean Great groundsman Price/performance Great with dogs Very great for children 10 min from Coop/Migros on footНегативиnothing!TOP!Great campsite that has everything you need. Directly on the Emme, the place invites you to linger and the children and dogs also have their fun. Burgdorf is highly recommended for some culture and the castle offers a great museum.
We received a very warm welcome at the campsite and will definitely put this campsite on our fav. list!Автоматично преведено. - Christian E.June 2020ПозитивниWell-kept complex City center worth seeing within 10 minutes walking distanceНегативиNo disadvantagesBeautiful, well-kept place in attractive surroundingsThe site consists of a front and a rear part. The rear part is characterized by permanent campers, the front part is intended for tourists. This part consists of two levels. One of them consists of pitches on the access road directly under the rock face and is therefore rather shady. The lower level... is much larger and sunnier. The site is quiet with a view of the castle.
The buildings (reception, buvette and sanitary facilities) are located in the middle of the square.
The picturesque town center with its imposing castle can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. Cycle paths and the swimming pool are in the immediate vicinity of the campsite.
The sanitary facilities are simple but very clean. At full occupancy, the number is likely to be rather limited.
The contact at the reservation and the reception were very friendly, the Buvette was not yet in operation.
Note on access: the access road leads over a narrow bridge (max. 2.5 m vehicle width) which has a pronounced bend in the middle.
We enjoyed the days very much and can highly recommend the site.Автоматично преведено. - Kurt B. S.April 2019ПозитивниQuiet, in the middle of forest, meadow, recreation area. - Yvonne Isabella & Peter F.May 2017ПозитивниOn one of the many cycle paths and in a very quiet location. Clean site, including the sanitary facilities.НегативиThe sanitary facilities have already outlived their best days.Cute placeWe were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Senn, although we arrived outside the opening hours of the reception. It is a small but cute site with about half occupied by permanent campers. The sanitary facilities are very clean but just getting on in years. There is a menu on Sunday, but otherwise no restaurant... on the site. No shopping facilities either. However, the small town of Burgdorf is easy and quick to reach on foot. Speaking of Burgdorf. A historic town with a castle. The hinterland is also very beautiful and there are many things to discover. Attention! You can only get to the campsite via a bridge. This is 2 meters 70 wide and dead straight. So no problem even with a large camper van. In any case, we drove through easily and safely with our 2.50 meter wide and 8 meter long van.Автоматично преведено.
- Irene M.September 2016ПозитивниVery quiet and friendly. The Emma is a wonderful recreation area. Swimming pool is in the immediate vicinity.НегативиnoneSimply wonderful! We spent two nights at Camping Waldegg. We received a very friendly welcome from Mr. and Mrs. Senn and immediately felt at home on this site. The sanitary facilities are very clean and the showers are free. There are lots of possibilities, we went biking along the Emma. You can see the castle from the campsite.Автоматично преведено.
- Yvonne K.May 2016ПозитивниQuiet location, small and familiar, close to the city, friendly,НегативиVery narrow access bridge. With our 2m50cm wide caravan, we had to do a lot of precision work/shower water not constantly warm.Close to the city and close to natureIt was our first time here and we immediately felt at home. The caretaker couple are very friendly, courteous and helpful. The bad reviews of the last few years made us skeptical. But the new management is doing a very good job. Thank you !Автоматично преведено.
- christa w.September 2015ПозитивниNo problem even with 3 dogs, clean, quiet, close to the city.НегативиDrive over the narrow bridge, call groundskeeper (off-season)Small square next to the village, quiet locationThe place is small a,but very nice. The grounds were always clean and everything is available. In the off-season you have to call the groundskeeper, who assigns the pitch number. Meadow pitches. Access over a narrow bridge - max.2.60 wide. We had to put in a mirror. Hiking trails in the forest and along... the river start right next to it. The village can be reached on foot in a few minutes. There is an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool. Huge meadows where you can also let dogs run free.Автоматично преведено.
- Heiko M.June 2015Tip TopThis is my first time here and I was very pleasantly surprised. I have stayed here since 01.06.2015 and can only have positive things to say about the site and the groundsman Marc Turner. Sanitary facilities always tip top. The little something called a bistro could be expanded. At least as far as the... infrastructure is concerned. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about. A second shower for the men wouldn't be bad either. Conclusion: The pitch is very nice and inexpensive. The groundsman is always on hand. In the morning, at lunchtime and in the evening. Even when he is not on site, you can reach him by phone. All in all, everything is very good. I will definitely come back to this site. A guest from Germany. - Johann (Hans) G.March 2013Nice little place on the EmmeWe were among the first guests this year. Very beautiful and quiet site between a steep rock face and the Emme with a view of the castle. Everything clean and well-kept, about 40 pitches. The sanitary building is a newer, small brick building. For men and women each 2 toilets, 3 washbasins, 1 wash cubicle,... and only 1 shower! That can be a bit tight. There are also washbasins for laundry and dishes. The "Beizli" with its small, inexpensive kitchen has NO dining room. But there is a party tent. New supply and disposal station next to the entrance. Dogs are welcome. Electricity flat rate - Schuko plug (don't forget the Swiss adapter!) Showers included. Hiking trails from the campsite along the Emme or through the rocks. Old town, outdoor pool and castle within walking distance. The campsite warden and his Asian wife are very nice and helpful. They even brought us food to the caravan once. Getting there is a bit of an adventure! Be sure to follow the CP signs. Finally, cross the Emme bridge, which is only 2.70 m wide, with a wall to the left and right, and you'll be right at your destination. We will come here at least once more this year because we want to experience this idyllic spot without rain and snow! We can recommend this place with a clear conscience!Автоматично преведено.
- Rüdiger D.May 2010A small, well-kept camp site about 20 km from Bern. Good train connections to Bern and Lucerne. The site itself offers very little. Access over the bridge over the Emme is a bit narrow. Hardly suitable for larger motorhomes. Caravans with a width of 2.50 are at risk. The site is located directly on the... Emme and a steep ridge. The small sanitary building is overloaded when the site is full. Waiting times are the order of the day. The lower part of the site is at risk in heavy rain. The town of Burgdorf with good shopping facilities is nearby. The pitch is too expensive for what it offers. 2 pers. with electricity ca.32,00 SFR R.D.Автоматично преведено.
