There are plenty of power points and water points spread around the site. Water is "free", i.e. included in the price. Electricity costs a flat rate.
The sanitary building has 80s charm,... a bit worn here and there, but everything is in working order.
Showers don't cost extra and were clean.
One problem is that there are a few permanent campers mixed in with day visitors.
This can lead to problems with access or noise nuisance.
In my opinion, there should be a clear separation.
If your expectations are not so high, you will find a campsite here where everything you need is available.

We liked it in principle because the site is beautifully laid out and there is a lot of greenery and forest around it. There were a few groups there, even with children. I was there from Friday lunchtime until Sunday morning. That wasn't so great, even if I was only in Bavaria for 2 days on a pitch, I got a normal pitch. It's a shame, it doesn't make me want to come back. And when I made a technical inquiry,... I was told that there were enough pitches available. The whole campsite also looks a bit run down. A reservation for a caravan and 4 tents was confirmed long in advance. However, when we arrived on Friday, the pitch allocated to us was already occupied by several tents. When we asked at reception, they apologized... and offered us an alternative pitch.... Conclusion: This pitch was also already occupied by campers who had apparently not taken the pitch allocated to them. When we asked at reception whether this had been checked, there was no appropriate response or suggested solution, only the statement that nothing could be done about it. Frustrated, we then simply pitched up on a private permanent campsite whose owners were obviously not present that weekend. We simply informed reception of this. It was accepted. We had no other option, but if the owner of the permanent campsite had come, he/she would have been right to be upset that we had occupied the pitch. And so it went on. Few showers/toilets for a large part of the site (3 toilet cubicles for the women)...only at the reception there was another small shower and toilet facility...far too few and mostly occupied. The cleanliness was also poor. After one night we wanted to have breakfast and then off we went. The rolls were ordered the day before as usual. The pick-up was scheduled to start at 08:00 and on request the evening before. Shortly after 08:00 at the kiosk: shutters closed. Slowly more campers arrived and joined the queue. When no one from the staff was to be seen at 08:15, we pressed the bell at reception. The young lady from the previous day appeared after a few minutes and asked if we would wait for the bread rolls (?).....this would take a little longer. So more waiting but nothing else happened. At around 08:30, another annoyed guest pressed the bell. This time the boss appeared to announce, slightly annoyed, that it had been 4 a.m. last night and that they would just have to wait. They then opened shortly before 09:00. Conclusion: The only positive thing about the campsite is the location in a beautiful area and the proximity to the nice swimming lake; however, we will definitely not use this again as you can have this elsewhere and the campsite seemed so unorganized and unfriendly as we had never experienced it before...a pity.Автоматично преведено.

Unfortunately, my husband left his wallet at the snack bar. The staff took it and immediately sent it home to us by registered mail. Great service. Great hospitality. Mrs. Fahrion and her staff were always open to any questions and were helpful and courteous. A great introduction to camper life. However, the terraces are very narrow, so if you also want to put up an awning, you won't be able to get a caravan through. However, we were pretty much the only tourists - otherwise a large number of permanent campers - so we had a terrace... all to ourselves. This made it heavenly quiet. However, the lawn could have been mowed. (Maybe it wasn't possible because of the previous continuous rain.) The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but were clean and well heated. The staff are very friendly, although I was only there for one night, I felt very comfortable and at home in the sociable company of the campsite team while I was waiting for my meal. The tent meadow... is at the back of the campsite, you get directions and a number to put on your tent when you check in. The place was very friendly, we could choose the terraces, since we only have a small camper, everything fit, larger have there rather a problem, especially with awning, the sanitary facilities are no longer up to date and best state, but were reasonably clean despite the... totally occupied place. At least we were kindly given permission over the phone to set up our tent without going through the check-in procedure. Pitches partly very narrow (Our 3 neighbors always had to drive over our place with their car. - Ewa B.August 2011Campsite is set next to forests and small lake. We went there with friends intending to walk around with dogs and reax in the evening. Walking was very good, but relaxing did not happen ! It was very noisy after 10pm, the owners did a karaoke evening which lasted longer than 10pm. There were several... big groups (one of them was group of teenagers with probably 10 beer cases) on campsite which did party to late night or rather morning (all stopped after 2am). We couldn't sleep most of night due to noise (loud talking/shouting and music)- we went to complain at reception but they didn't make anything better. Next day we left and once again complained. We received information from owners that it's normal that people want to have fun (there was big sign about "nacht ruhe" from 22-7am at entry)- they thought it is completly normal and that it was not so loud. Beside noise issue the toilet/shower area was dirty and unhigenic (friend found used tampon in shower) So if you look for peace and relax DON'T go there ! If you look for party all day and night long and don't mind dirt- it's place for you. We will NEVER go to that place again.Автоматично преведено.

The Fahrion family is very nice and explained everything to us as "new campers" and was always a nice contact person. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. The sanitary facilities could be a bit cleaner, but it was still... bearable. The lake is a paradise for children with its pedal boat, little train, several playgrounds and mini golf and my daughter didn't want to leave. The kiosk is well equipped, but the bus could go to Murrhardt more often, because without a car you are quite cut off from the world. Which also has its charm :-)Автоматично преведено.
