Best regards to the Lange family from Sabine and Eckhard Hesse from NiederlepteАвтоматично преведено.- Claudia B.October 2021Позитивни-it could actually be nice because of the location, if it weren't for the disadvantages....Негативи-Old and too small sanitary facilities. -showers have to be paid extra (50 cents with timer, then the water goes off) or you have to shower at defined times in a terrible narrow container without privacy and storage facilities -Too few toilets -access to sanitary facilities only with key (but you only get 1 key, so you have to plan who goes and when) - Very long distances to the sanitary building -only 1 dishwashing facility for dishes old-fashioned, heavy gate must always be opened and closed manually to get off the site - Paths poorly lit in the dark, motion detectors partly defective - charge €3.50 per dog per day without providing any infrastructure (such as bag dispenser/bin/dog shower) - but several prohibitions - swimming is prohibited in the actually quite pretty lake -despite sufficient areas where dogs could run freely, they have to be kept on a lead at all times - Staff unfriendly and petty - Long distances to the garbage cans - No free choice of seats - Miserable value for money in relation to what is on offer! Expensive - constant background noise from highway and train traffic - many mosquitoesNo recommendation- old, loud, expensive, unfriendlyAfter 3 weeks of camping vacation, this was the unsightly end. The facility looks ancient and not at all up to date. Showers with timers and extra costs? Where else do you get that? It's also terribly inconvenient if you can only use the toilets or showers with a key. So when one person takes a shower,... the other has to stifle their need for so long. Queuing to wash up. Not being allowed to swim in a beautiful lake. Arriving too early to get bread rolls - instead of a friendly request to wait a moment or to come back, we were reprimanded for being told clearly when bread rolls would be served (and they weren't particularly tasty, but they were expensive). K.September 2021ПозитивниGood location, as it is only 9km by bike to Erfurt city center, and the train station is not far away, from where you can get to the city every hour.Негативи- Very noisy - especially at night, as gravel or stones are produced next door and the train has to honk loudly for a level crossing. - Outdated sanitary facilities, very cramped - The 5 free showers in the container have no storage space and behind the shower curtain you are right in the corridor - The 2 showers (€0.50 for 5 minutes) also have no hooks. We received a friendly welcome and were guided by the groundsman to a pitch suitable for a camper van and tent. The groundsman asked us about our plans and immediately gave us helpful tips for our visit to Erfurt and... the BuGa. We then visited Erfurt on 3 days and made a detour (by train) to Halle on the 4th day.
The restaurant on the square offers home-style cooking at fair prices and the service here is also very friendly.
We could get over the fact that the sanitary facilities were a bit outdated. At least they were clean, which is not always the case even with more modern facilities. The operators were not responsible for the main disadvantage, the rainy weather. The reception was polite and courteous, the place OK for us, sanitary a bit old, but very clean. Public transport can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. Most Womo pitches without infrastructure offer more atmosphere!No future - unkemptWe visited Erfurt over 2 days. It was easy to do by bike, despite the 11 km journey on the cycle path. But this place has no future in this condition. We won't be coming here a second time. Huge puddles when it rains. Rarely have we experienced such an uneven pitch. Nothing looked even remotely well-kept.... The scullery is a dingy container, the sanitary facilities are also disgusting due to their poor/old condition. Unfortunately, the pictures on the homepage don't even come close to reality. Sanitary facilities a disaster, access only with a key, dishwashing facilities in a container - terrible condition. The whole place including the many permanent campers... very run-down, bread rolls that we ordered once were baked rolls, overall extremely overpriced. We paid over €30 for a camper van, car, two people and two dogs ....... Oh yes, showers cost an extra €0.50 for 5 minutes of hot water which turned into ice-cold water after about 3 minutes. If you dare to ask a question during the briefing, you will sometimes be punished with a bad pitch ("Listen to me, I won't tell you twice!"). Infrastructure: The sanitary facilities are extremely primitive and are not cleaned regularly. It's annoying... that these lousy toilets are also locked. Why do you have to lock the toilets on a closed campsite? Location: The two quarry ponds are beautiful and there are actually many pitches with lake views. Unfortunately, on weekdays the vehicles and machines of the industrial area in which the quarry pond is located are sometimes a nuisance. The center of Erfurt can be reached in 10 minutes by car. Regional trains run irregularly from the nearby train station to Erfurt for a small fee. Restaurant: There are a few very simple restaurants, but they are OK. You can sometimes buy bread rolls in the morning. However, these are very expensive, cheaply baked rolls. The grumpiness mentioned above is also always noticeable here. The location is very quiet and yet only 7-8 km from the center of Erfurt (train station nearby). Staff very friendly and always helpful. The food is always fresh and tastes very good!... We also ordered breakfast sometimes and were very positively surprised: lots of fresh, partly homemade, products, nicely arranged at the breakfast table. The sanitary facilities are older, but were always very well cleaned and in perfect condition. The location of the site is good, there is a train connection to Erfurt in the immediate vicinity, and the city... center is about 10 minutes away by car. The lakes are very idyllic, it is very quiet apart from a little noise from the train and a distant gravel works.
