"It's the location that counts here, not the space! - The location on the island of Reichenau directly on the lake is sensational! - Lady at reception very friendly, staff very friendly - Sanitary facilities not brand new, but spotlessly clean - Space for washing dishes, laundry, lounges, mini children's indoor room - Pitch with gravel for the vehicle and meadow, electricity on site - Restaurant on site with great terrace and view of the lake, food is ok -Beautiful surroundings, very clean - Great cycle paths, cycling to Constance possible - Great accommodation for cyclists and pitches for tent campers - 10 minutes walk to the bus stop, then continue by S-Bahn to Constance. The journey is free for campsite guests, great! - Herbs from Lake Constance for sale on site Disadvantages: - The only way to get to the campsite was with the boss, who was constantly grumbling and grumbling, very gruff and unfriendly. We had to wait 20 minutes for him in the blazing sun while he had a chat - Lake pitches are only available for permanent campers - a shame, as there were no permanent campers to be seen for miles around, it was a dead zone, but the beautiful pitches are still blocked, making the site very unattractive and overbuilt, it looks overcrowded. - the pitches are sometimes chaotic, with caravans, bicycles and sometimes 3 cars parked between the motorhomes. The pitches "at the house" are terrible, the neighbors walk through the pitches and stare at the plate sitting opposite. On a small meadow in three rows - you feel cramped in the middle of it all - Caravans are given preferential treatment and are even allowed to set up generously as a square, campers are squeezed in between -despite the high price, an extra €1 for a shower -No shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity. - No kiosk on the pitch -no rolls, no bread, only baguettes and pretzels to pick up, no need to order in advance -Workers sit in front of the bike shelters, drink and stare at women

"overcrowded - First time in this region, which was recommended to us by friends. The island is very beautiful and you can also do a lot of cycling. Friendly operator good, but you could tell it was coming to an end. Too close together, no awning etc. possible, every corner was used and still blocked. Cleanliness in san facilities good, the overall location is also good - just everything is very cramped.

"Overcrowded square - Two weeks stay in August 2021. Camping buses are squeezed between caravans, caravans were so close together that some of the windows could not be opened. No fire protection. Coin-operated machines in the showers mostly defective. Actually a nice place, but unfortunately hopelessly overcrowded, noise until late in the evening.

"Once and never again - Never experienced such a terrible campsite! Everything was dirty and filthy, nothing was cleaned (toilets/showers) Place was very unkempt and extremely loud and the boss? VERY VERY rude

"Not reachable - E-mails are ignored, calls are not answered for days, or are busy after a long wait on hold. How are you supposed to know if something is free... No more supermarket, only baguettes in the morning.

Профил

Der Campingplatz Sandseele befindet sich am südlichen Ufer der Gemüseinsel Reichenau. Die direkte Seelage ermöglicht schöne Ausblicke ebenso wie diverse Wasseraktivitäten. Im angrenzenden Freizeitcenter werden Fahrräder sowie verschiedene Boote und Kanus zur Miete angeboten; die örtliche Surfschule verleiht hochwertiges Equipment …und eine Segelschule befindet sich ebenfalls auf der Insel. Die Betreiber des Fünf-Sterne-Campingplatzes legen besonderen Wert auf Umweltschutz und Nachhaltigkeit, was 2009 durch eine Auszeichnung bestätigt wurde. Hier wird Energie effizient genutzt, Abfälle wiederverwertet und es kommen naturverträgliche Reiniger zum Einsatz. Neben Stellplätzen gibt es auch mit Stockbetten ausgestattete Mietunterkünfte für zwei bis vier Personen, die eine gute Alternative zum Zelt darstellen. Die modernen Sanitäranlagen mit großen Bädern bestehen seit 2009. Behindertengerechte Räumlichkeiten sind vorhanden. Es stehen Waschmaschinen, Trockner und Spüleinrichtungen zur Verfügung. Lebensmittel und Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs finden Camper im platzeigenen Minimarkt. Für größere Mahlzeiten bietet sich das Restaurant am Seeufer an. Hier kommen Fischspezialitäten, frisches Gemüse und weitere regionale Produkte auf den Tisch.
