"Ideal starting point for sightseeing. The turquoise-green sea and the sandy beach - We were right by the sea. Pitch big enough. You always get to know camping friends from other countries.

"Ideal as a base for excursions to/from Ouranoupoli - Nice little campsite with friendly staff and good infrastructure. Tavern and store on the site. Sanitary area tidy and clean. We had an artificially shaded pitch with grass on the edge of the site with a great sea view. Beautiful (probably filled in) sandy beach with parasols. The deeper water in front of the beach is rocky. I recommend wearing bathing shoes because of the sea urchins. Our dog really liked the mown meadow next to the campsite for playing. Unfortunately there is no continuous footpath to Ouranoupoli, 2 km away. We used the gutter of the road as a footpath for half of the way. As there was very little traffic, it worked quite well. There is a footpath from the entrance to the town to the center. There is little on offer around the square. In Ouranopouli itself, on the other hand, there are plenty of places to shop and eat. This is also where the excursion boats leave for the monasteries.

"Disgusting attitude of the staff members - I have stayed two years in a row at this camping, where I have repeatedly witnessed the disgusting and aggressive attitude of Stelios, the manager of the campsite. I could give some examples of what I mean: 1. he screams, threatens and brings 3, 4, 5 year old kids to tears, who had the audacity to pick 2 olives from a tree. 2. he offends his permanent customers and chases them away with such words as: "Go back to Skopje", "You're crazy", "If you don't like it, go home". 3. he expelled from the campsite certain customers, having paid a 10-day stay, for singing the "Happy Birthday" song at midnight (24:00 hrs.). 4. he raised a huge scandal to customers from Bulgaria, because they have brought a small fridge with them. 5. he forces his permanent customers to keep their children inside the caravans during the biggest heat in the daytime (15:00 -18:00 hrs.). 6. he forces everyone to keep absolute silence for three hours during the daytime (15:00 -18:00 hrs.), while he himself, in this time, is making unbearable noise, by moving around with a tractor to collect garbage. 7. if he notices that kids are having fun anywhere at the campsite, he immediately approaches and disperses them. 8. he does not allow using a lot of water and raises outrageous scandals, if you dare to wash your terrace. Camping: Small-size, entirely concrete-covered, with almost no grass around the campsite. Disgusting attitude of the staff members, who are looking only to take your money. In 2015 I was alone with my two children (aged 1 and 2.5 years old). My older daughter lost consciousness and I cried for help but no one responded. There is no doctor nearby as well. And on top of all, the owners quarreled with me about me bursting into cries?!?? In 2016 a snake passed between the legs of a 2-year-old child in front ot their caravan. Her grandfather had to kill it. In 2016, because of the heinous attitude of the owner, the toilets were often covered with shit stains. In 2016, again, due to the rude attitude of the owner, someone committed a theft of a laptop. In 2016, again, because of the arrogance of Stelios, somebody deliberately untied a €200,000 boat, which was fortunately found a few days later by the police. Some days later was cut off the chain of a jet. No receipts and invoices for amounts paid there are issued at all. Restaurant: Extremely high prices for this area. Shamefully small portions. Waiting approx. 40 minutes to be served a salad. Food orders are often forgotten about. In conclusion, I would say that the place is nice by nature surrounding, but it is not worth ruining your vacation, being exposed to the abuse and tyranny, single-handedly imposed by Stelios. The bitter taste left from his aggressive, arrogant, tyrannical, unscrupulous and ruthless attitude remains long after the end of the vacation. I would advise anyone who loves camping, nature and freedom, to choose another holiday destination in Greece.

"Flat pitch by the sea - Level site by the sea, approx. 2 km before the village, cab 5.-, site: sand, level, covered with shady mats, directly by the sea, several permanent campers, sanitary facilities: clean, small showers, sufficient hot water Shop: ok, TV ok, WLAN Taverna: very good Access to the sea: small gravel, some sand Taxi to the village: 5.-.

"Nice campsite - We (2 adults + twins, 5 years old) had booked in advance for 3 days (mid-August), but then stayed there for 7 nights. We liked the small, family-run campsite. The short distances to the sanitary facilities, the beach, the small supermarket and the excellent taverna were good for us and our children. We were also given a bottle of wine when we left... We would pitch our tents there again!

"Nice small family campsite - Very nicely laid out campsite, lots of flower beds. Lots of showers and toilets, all always found clean. The owner doesn't speak English, but his son speaks excellent English. As does his charming daughter, who unfortunately is studying and is only there during semester breaks. There is a great restaurant and a small supermarket on site. The beach was only a few meters away, I felt very comfortable
