This was our third time at the campsite and it certainly won't be the last.

New wash house on the main site, everything else is new and modern. Unfortunately, the chemical toilet emptying system is also new. There is no... normal emptying system, as on any other campsite, but only a chemical toilet machine, which you have to pay for. Emptying 3 €, plus filling with toilet additive 1.50 € if you want to. Emptying in the normal toilet is expressly punished with a €30 fine and expulsion from the site.
The price is quite high in my opinion. We probably had a front row pitch with electricity and water on site, but there was no waste water. So there is no restaurant, coffee or other entertainment on these pitches either. Bread roll service must be ordered by 8pm for the next day and handed in at reception. Very nice location of the pitches directly on the lake --- long narrow pitches were sufficient for us and our caravan ---- Sanitary building very outdated, a new one is planned for next year. The showers are very small and without a partition, i.e. everything gets wet and it is hardly possible to get into a new pair of pants dry. There is very little light in the washing cubicles, as there is only one lamp with little luminosity, and also very little light in the toilets in the evening (only lamps in the central corridor). There is no sink for washing clothes, but there is a washing machine and dryer (not free of charge). It also doesn't help that a new one is planned here, because it wasn't there this year. --- The path to the pitches is simply filled in with gravel, so not suitable for cycling either All in all: In addition to the expensive prices in the main season of 51.50 euros per pitch and day, there is also electricity 1 euro per KWh service charge 1.50 euros per person and day and the tourist tax We will definitely not be back, the negative things outweigh the positive things for us.Автоматично преведено.

Overall, we found the place overpriced. In Chieming (15 minutes on foot) there is everything you need. Supermarket, restaurants, cafes etc.
Advantages
Location, location, location. You can go into the water directly from the campsite, go boating,... rent SUPs etc. TOP! Everything else is nice, modern, new and clean. Really good: stress-free showers. No timer, no coins, just shower :-) There are "real" baked goods at the bread service. There is also an Italian snack bar on site. It's "ok" but nothing more.
Disadvantages
Unfortunately, the WLAN is very unstable. The lighting is ok, but something else doesn't seem to fit properly. What a pity. Otherwise I would have liked a normal toilet emptying system. There is only one machine, which takes a long time. No problem in the low season, in the high season there is probably a wait. The 3€ per cleaning is ok. Unfortunately, there is only one waste water outlet at the large motorhome waste water point. It's kind of "stupid" or I didn't discover the normal waste water. Also possible ;-) Please note that a country road runs right past the site. We enjoy our time with the friendly staff, who always have an open ear and a solution for our guests and their concerns.
The sanitary facilities are very clean and well maintained. The kiosk with bar has... a good offer and bread roll service. The very lovely and cozy sun terrace invites you to linger in good weather and watch the beautiful sunset.

The campsite stretches between a road and the Chiemsee right into the village of Chieming. Accordingly, it has two sides, a beautiful one facing the lake and a quiet one facing the road. We were there for 2 days from Saturday to Monday;... shorter was not possible. The high temperatures forced us to at least leave the roof hatches open. We had only planned a relaxing stopover on the way to the Ruhr area. But "relaxing" was not possible. The road was relatively busy and 10 to 15 m away as the crow flies; there was no noise protection in between. At around 3 to 4 a.m., the party homecomers took over from the work drivers. It was difficult to sleep. I'm amazed that there are actually campers who stay here longer!!!
The cleanliness was also poor during our visit. There were cobwebs everywhere in the sanitary and washing-up areas. The soap dispenser was always empty, as were the paper towels. There was still a diaper and empty beer bottles lying around on the beach during our entire stay. Cigarette butts on the paths and on the pitch. It should of course be noted here that the campsite was full. The reception, on the other hand, was very friendly and courteous.

Some places are used as a passageway by those behind. 25 grams of butter cost 0.50 cents, a small Kaiser roll 0.60 cents, The roof construction in front of the reception/bistro is life-threatening in my opinion. Maybe we were just a bit unlucky.Unfortunately, I have to say that when I go on vacation in Germany, the staff at the place should also speak German. They were very nice but unfortunately could only speak Greek and English. That the sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day should also be normal.
