As soon as you enter, you notice a large, new playground and various driving equipment (go-carts), a paradise for children.
The pitches are generously distributed over the very large area. They adapt to the terrain, so there are flat and less flat pitches,... but all on grass. Putting in pegs is no problem. The pitches are divided into different areas by high wooden walls, which serve as wind protection. The path to the beach goes through the dunes, maybe 500m. So it's easy to reach. But if you stand on the edge of the cliff, there is an extremely steep wooden staircase with a rope railing. Walk very carefully! I would have my doubts with small children. We had to carry our dogs down (luckily they're not that big).
There are horses, goats, rabbits and kangaroos on the site! So there's always something to look at.
The only downside is the sanitary facilities. They are getting on in years. But clean. Unfortunately, there was only toilet paper in one of the many cabins and it was of the single-ply wrapping paper variety. Better to bring your own. On the other hand, hot showers are free of charge and with a proper tap where you don't have to press the button every three seconds.
We stayed at the campsite for two nights and used it as a base for excursions. The location is ideal for this.
Overall, we felt very comfortable here and would stay here again. Our daughter was out and about all day... the campsite is not overcrowded and crammed, but loosely "filled". There is a pool and lots of other leisure activities, there is something for all ages. The sanitary facilities are older. However,... the cleanliness was fine at our time and there were enough of them. Various riding activities can be used. The girls were totally lovely and made an effort with the children. Absolute praise!!! The location is not far from the beach. The site also has pitches with windbreak fences. First with children and caravan, now retired with motorhome. My children go here again with their children and are happy every time. The family who run the site have spoken very good German for several years and are always willing to listen to any problems you may have. There are parceled-out pitches with electricity, but also unparceled pitches without electricity. Compared to Germany, there is a lot of space and although it is busy in summer, it gets quiet at 22:00 without anyone having to check. We were there for 2 weeks in Corona time September 2020 and had a whole meadow to ourselves. We also go on vacation in Nr.Lyngby for 1 week in a vacation home in autumn because it is very cheap then. If you don't want it to be so crowded in summer, you shouldn't go in the weeks 30-32, because that's when most Danes have company vacations.НегативиA few minor repairs in the daily cleaned bathroom. The bread service is top, with very tasty rolls! We like to stand "wild" and that is very possible here to the cliffs! The nature all around is unique with the many paths on which you can walk from coastal town to coastal town!... Our big dog was also very welcome and could even let off steam every morning on the dog run at the campsite!
There is plenty on offer for children. From a petting zoo with rabbits, goats, kangaroos and especially ponies! Right up to large playgrounds and play facilities!
The sanitary facilities are older but everything is always clean! We also loved the family showers!

The sanitary building is no longer the newest, but always clean (showers 5 crowns). Alternatively, there are newly built family showers including toilet and washbasin in the main building, where you will... also find gas stoves, ovens, microwave and refrigerators. There are two playgrounds, a bouncy cushion and a pool. In the small store you really only get the essentials, bread rolls on pre-order. A 5-minute walk to the cliffs, the stairs to the beach are steep but safe. I found the small zoo with kangaroos, pigs, goats, horses and much more very impressive. The sanitary facilities are cleaned once a day, but some of the fittings are in a sad state. Some of the electrical connections on the pitches are completely outdated. There is no earthing of the connection. Those who come here are certainly looking for... peace and quiet. The site was the base for helicopter tours for three days (take-off and landing approx. every 15 min.) The tariffs have also risen quite considerably in the meantime, so I think the site is too expensive for what is on offer.
