- Chris P.August 2024ПозитивниVery idyllic and close to nature. Everything is very uncomplicated, relaxed and friendly. Rather quiet, no hustle and bustle but great for young families. Good bistro/pizzeria on site. Staff also speak English. The site is manageable and children can run around and play safely. St. Martin and the Ardèche are a 5-10 minute walk away.НегативиA larger store would be good and the pool could be bigger. It's more for splashing around.Idyllic, relaxed, uncomplicated, close to natureVery relaxed and natural campsite without a lot of hustle and bustle, but great for young families. Very close to nature and uncomplicated. We spent a great 10 days here.Автоматично преведено.
- jonathan b.May 2024Позитивни- Great hurropia quality as always with very friendly staff - large pitches lots of trees and bushes - close to the town - stunning views of the gordon the castle etc. - nice restaurant and wineries to buy fresh wine oil etcНегативи- if there was a lot of rain the river can be dangerous to small children - - there are also yellow snakes at the river, they are afraid and swim away - no public transportation so really need bikes or using the RV for visiting sights (and there are plenty)great huttopia qualitywe really enjoyed our stay here. beautiful nature close to town
nice campsite with loads of greenery - Mike K.September 2018ПозитивниFriendly staff, located directly on the river Ardeche, everything is great for a 3 star campsite.НегативиThere were no disadvantages for us.Super 3 star campsiteThere is a good cafe with milk in front, next to the reception at the bar. You can also play table football there for one euro. (However, it needs to be overhauled) Very friendly staff. The site borders directly on the beautiful river Ardeche. Canoe trips can be booked from the site and you can easily... walk to the charming village of Aigueze on the other side of the river. The village of Saint Martin dÁrdeche is also beautiful. We also made a few short videos about it. Under my normal name on Youtube.Автоматично преведено.
- Isabel J.August 2018Позитивниbeautiful location at the end of the Ardeche (easy access from the highway)НегативиSanitary old and uncleanBeautiful location and large pitches, unfortunately old and unclean sanitary buildingsBeautiful location at the end of the Ardeche gorge, i.e. no long and winding drive from the highway. Pool area small but ok. Reception sometimes overwhelmed with the allocation of spaces. If a caravan is parked at the barrier, the entire access road is blocked. No waiting area for trailers (only car... parking lot). This often led to problems. The pitches themselves are usually very large. The sanitary buildings are outdated and unkempt. In some cases it is not even possible to choose the temperature of the showers. There is only an on/off push button. A renovation would be urgently needed here. Regular cleaning (not only of the toilet keys, but also around the cubicle) would also go a long way to improving well-being.Автоматично преведено.
- Stefan H.August 2018TransitVery nicely located site, ideal for passing through, but also for spending a few days here. Very friendly staff. Will be happy to come back again when passing through or next time with more timeАвтоматично преведено.
- Erik Z.July 2016ПозитивниQuiet location directly on the river, central location to the beautiful village, many leisure activitiesНегативиsometimes little shade on the pitches, except for bread no food to buy directly on site, WLAN only at the restaurantFamily camping in a great landscape and with lots of leisure activitiesA beautiful, natural campsite for the whole family, located directly on the Ardèche. One advantage of the campsite is its relatively quiet location right at the entrance to the village, although you can quickly reach the small, very pleasant village of St-Martin de Ardèche on foot. The mainly young staff... at the campsite reception and in the restaurant are very friendly. The restaurant (free Wi-Fi) and the adjacent small pool are designed in a very natural and friendly way with lots of wood. In the morning, baguettes are offered for sale (pre-order), in the morning there is nice children's entertainment, and in the evening not too loud entertainment with changing cabaret artists. For a good meal, however, it is advisable to go to the town, which is very close by on foot. The restaurant Le Moulin, which is right next to the campsite, is highly recommended for its great view of the Ardèche and the village bridge. There are many tents for rent on the campsite. The pitches for campers are quite large, but some of them are only slightly divided by bushes. Although there are quite a few trees, a large number of pitches lack shade, which can be annoying in midsummer. It was great to see numerous hoopoes, which clearly felt at home on the pitch. The three sanitary facilities are only just adequate when the site is full. Although the site was not completely full, there were often queues for the toilets at peak times in the morning - the same was true for the showers in the evening. Otherwise, the sanitary facilities were well equipped, worked and were sufficiently clean. You can walk directly from the campsite to the banks of the Ardèche (stone beach). Swimming is hardly possible here in summer due to the low water. You have to walk the distance to the next weir. But it is great fun - not just for children - to build dams and water basins with the stones. There is plenty to do from the campsite and the town of St-Martin de Ardèche. Several providers offer canoe trips down the Ardèche. You are taken up the Ardèche with your canoe in a bus from the village and paddle back down the rather long but scenic route through the canyon. There are also various caves (e.g. Grotte de Saint Marcel) to visit, as well as the famous Pont d'Arc (natural stone bridge over the Ardèche). Further afield there is the crocodile farm in Pirrelatte, Cascades du Sautadet and the Pont du Garde. We had a great time and can recommend the campsite.Автоматично преведено.
- Katrina I.June 2016ПозитивниThe quiet location on the river and the immediate proximity to the village. Hiking, canoeing, relaxing and enjoying good food.НегативиIt's not so easy to find a good place to swim! Don't forget your water shoes!A cozy campsite right on the river, close to Saint MartinWe spent 2 weeks in June on the beautiful site and would have liked to stay longer! We rented a tent with really good sanitary facilities, which was very spacious and also offered us really good beds. Only the creaky floor was a bit annoying. There were lots of birds outside our tent and we had the most... fun with a family of Wiederhopfe! Where else can you find that? The reception and bar/restaurant staff were incredibly friendly. You could really feel at home there! The beach location was only partly suitable for swimming. With children I would probably rather go to the beach in the village (300m). However, there is also the pool! Although you can eat nicely on the campsite itself, there are also plenty of nice restaurants in the immediate vicinity and the prices are really good for France! Shopping is a bit limited in the village, there is no supermarket! But you can get the essentials in the shop around the corner, then there are also markets (fantastically located on the river) and you can get the baguette in the morning on the square! We also highly recommend a short walk to the medieval village of Aigueze on the other side of the river! beautiful! All in all, we had a very relaxing vacation at the campsite, which we are happy to recommend!Автоматично преведено.
- Kerstin I.May 2015ПозитивниLocation and many possibilities for leisure activitiesGood starting point for exploring the ArdecheThe pitches are large, level and easy to reach via good paths. There were also plenty of free pitches in the low season. The sanitary facilities were attractively designed, but were cleaned rather superficially. On the walls behind the toilets, you could clearly see the marks left behind by the less... than unerringly determined people who had been standing up to pee. It's a shame that there are such piglets, but it should still be cleaned up. From the campsite you can make wonderful excursions into the gorges of the Ardeche with all the sights it has to offer. The small town is within walking distance and there are also a few nice places to eat or drink. Conclusion: The campsite is a good and pleasant starting point for exploring the highlights of the Ardeche.Автоматично преведено.
- Ingo P.May 2015ПозитивниInexpensive and very practicalНегативиPoor sanitary facilities, which were also poorly maintained check in on the internet from 2pm, but in reality only at 4pm.Simple place, great locationThe campsite is simple, but easily accessible. You can walk to the neighboring town in just a few minutes. We know that the Indigo chain attaches great importance to being close to nature. But clean showers and toilets could also be provided with organic means. This was our 3rd pitch in the Indigo series... and our last for the time being. It could be better. No check-in parking for vehicles longer than 6 meters or trailers. If you're lucky you'll find out the barrier code from fellow travelers and can drive in.Автоматично преведено.
- Marcus S.September 2014ПозитивниACSI, water sports facilities, ideal for excursionsBeautiful place on the ArdecheBeautifully situated campsite directly on the Ardeche with access to the pebble beach. Quiet and child-friendly. Nice overall concept! Perfect for excursions and water sports.Автоматично преведено.
- Ruth G.May 2013A beautiful campsite that also offers direct access to the pebbly Ardeche beach. At the beginning of May many pitches were still unoccupied, we were allowed to choose freely. Reception very helpful and friendly. Very large pitches with lots of trees. Washing facilities without gender separation, many individual wash cubicles and shower cubicles. Cleanliness was ok.Автоматично преведено.
- Dieter d.September 2012If you arrive via the D 290 and then turn off to the campsite, you (and the navigation system) will be surprised by the campsite entrance, which has now been moved forward. If you accidentally drive past it, you will inevitably end up in the narrow streets of the village before you can turn around, so... drive slowly! The site is in a very quiet location just outside the village, so it's very convenient for a little stroll in the evening. We are impressed by the very large, elongated pitches with few trees, and we are amused by a few arriving motorhome drivers who are probably surprised by the size of the pitches: why else do some of them park right next to another motorhome (on the same pitch number!!), even though there are still plenty of free pitches? The sanitary facilities are typical of a municipal campsite, but very clean and well maintained. The site also has a "bathing beach" on the Ardèche, but this can only be reached after a long walk over coarse gravel. So be sure to wear bathing shoes if you want to go into the knee- to belly-deep water.Автоматично преведено.
- Thomas W.September 2012Beautifully situated site directly on the Ardeche. Perfect for excursions and water sports. Clean sanitary facilities. Really great, own pool, can also be used in bad weather.Автоматично преведено.
