- Jens W.July 2022Позитивни- Spacious site with lots of trees - Directly on Lake Olba with a great beach - Very well maintained, with attention to detail - Very friendly site operatorsНегативиNothingVery nice place at a great swimming lakeWe stayed on the site for 10 nights and felt very comfortable. The pitches are not parceled out and are mostly shady. There was still enough space, even though we were there in high season.
There is a large playground for the children. The beach at Lake Olba is right next to the campsite.
The site is... well-kept and you can tell that it is run with passion.
There are 2 wash houses, only one of which also has showers. They were clean at all times.
There is a kiosk on the beach where you can also order breakfast rolls.
The location is perfect for nature lovers and cyclists. Bautzen is about 25 minutes away by car.Автоматично преведено. - Sebastian J.August 2020Позитивни- beautiful location directly on the lake - natural place - friendly operators - beautiful pitch with lake view - sufficient infrastructure (kiosk, snack bar, bread rolls,...)Негативи- No major shopping facilities in the immediate vicinityCamping the way you love it right on the lakeVery pleasant camping flair in a rustic ambience. The site offers everything we could wish for on vacation: Water/beach, partly shady pitches, friendly people, nice playground, good food.
The campsite is definitely the right place for small children, the playground and the beach provide the right conditions.
Not fancy, but everything you need. We are happy to recommend the campsite with fond memories!Автоматично преведено. - Annegret W.August 2020ПозитивниFriendly operator couple Location on the water and in nature Cleanliness topНегативиThere is nothing to complain aboutSuper fast located campsiteBeautifully situated in a forest and meadow. - Mario B.June 2020ПозитивниQuiet location with many trees in the middle of nature and directly on the lake with snack bar and small kiosk, very friendly operators who are there with a lot of love and heart.Негативи- Water column far away - TV through the trees not possible, DVB-T unstable, D1 Telekom hardly any reception (TV and cell phone reception are only an indication) Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to lack of operator 😒Quiet CP left to nature directly on the lakeVery friendly reception at reception, you are taken to the pitch and can stand as you like. Partly no meadow available and uneven. Sufficient power supply available, water only 1 column a little away. Gray water in the immediate vicinity of the reception. Main sanitary facilities NEW and very clean.... Showers with 0.50€ coin for 3 minutes completely sufficient, shower cubicle without shelf and only 1 hook on the door (according to the operator, the company has to improve the partitions and doors incorrectly attached) then a stainless steel shelf would also be attached. Very nice playground on the CP. Great starting point for cycling or running. Dog-friendly site, unfortunately dogs are not allowed in the lake. We didn't see any dog waste bag dispensers at the lake or on the campsite.
Mainly approx. 80% permanent campers with some unkempt pitches.Автоматично преведено. - Christine S.May 2019ПозитивниLocation Directly on Lake Olba, cleanliness, friendliness, tranquillityНегативи-Very gladly againClean, well-organized campsite in a beautiful natural setting. - Heiko T.April 2019ПозитивниClean, nice operators, child-friendly,НегативиTime passes too quickly.Very nice operators, anytime again. We have just spent our Easter here. Clean sanitary facilities, pitch in the countryside, close to playground and water. Operators are very nice, Görlitz and Bautzen around the corner. You can swim, cycle, play table tennis, simply beautiful. Permanent campers are nice, they greet you properly, just as you would expect. The price is also good.Автоматично преведено.
- Jenny H.August 2018ПозитивниFamily-friendly atmosphere. Peace, serenity and friendliness of the operators. Numerous excursion possibilities by bike and car.НегативиWi-Fi often not stable (but will be revised in 2019).Relaxing campsite in Upper LusatiaA great campsite in the "Oberlausitzer Heide- und Teichlandschaft" biosphere reserve in Saxony. The campsite is not for people who want to continue their orderly life from home at the campsite. There is no entertainment for children. Children and adults won't get bored on and around(!) the campsite.... There is a large playground and numerous games, table tennis tables and books are available to borrow free of charge from reception. The owners are very friendly and family-friendly, which is reflected in the atmosphere of the campsite. A real campsite for everyone except those who need pitches and luxury. The surrounding area offers numerous excursion possibilities and is just waiting to be explored! A must is a trip to the House of a Thousand Ponds in Wartha, preferably by bike. The cycle path around the adjacent ponds offers lots of interesting facts and unique nature for young and old. Bautzen, Dresden and Görlitz are also easily accessible by car. This gives you plenty of relaxing nature and yet the opportunity to experience a wide range of cultural attractions. An experience and real (insider) tip is the nature market in Wartha in mid-September. The water of Lake Olba is clean and clear. The sanitary facilities are always clean and are cleaned daily. The already good main sanitary building will be renovated again next winter (new windows, ventilation and showers!). There is a kiosk on site and Hennry's Einkaufseck in Kleinsaubernitz for shopping. Local beer, e.g. from Bautzen and Görlitz, is available from the drinks market in Dauban, delicious sausage from the butcher and the best bread rolls in Germany from the bakery in Malschwitz. A cycle ride on the Spree or Seeadler circular route from the campsite to Malschwitz is a good opportunity to experience the typical nature of the area. The ride goes via Wartha, Lömischau, Guttau and Salga and takes about 30 minutes.Автоматично преведено.

- Markus R.May 2018ПозитивниLots of nature, no unnecessary nonsense that only new campers need, great location - that's all you need.НегативиGrumpy long-term campers with prohibition signs here and there push the age average up considerably.Perfect location with lots of peace and nature! The location of the campsite is absolutely excellent, right in the middle of nowhere. There's nothing nearby apart from a village store, a small restaurant, petrol station and café. So it's pretty perfect. The pitches are all rather shady, which is also great. A stand of birch and oak trees surrounds... the entire Olba Lake, which incidentally has excellent water quality. The owners are super friendly and you can tell that this is a personal dream come true. About the campsite itself: it is a small site, the majority of which is already occupied by permanent campers and their typical caravan settlements. In the low season there is little going on, you can find your spot. In the high season, it could be a lot busier. The site meets my requirements perfectly, I don't need or want entertainment facilities and all the circus surrounding it. Toilets are clean, the mosquitoes are keen to bite ;-) I wouldn't find fault with the site itself, but luxury campers should avoid it (please avoid it!), simply because it lacks the usual comfort. There are NO parceled out pitches - thank the gods! Internet is Edge only, or none at all. If you want to get your kids away from their cell phones > this will be a party ;-) Various events are offered on a regular basis. What I noticed were the somehow grumpy permanent campers. All old and mostly on bikes. You can tell that you are only using "their" pitch as a guest and that they are actually the kings. Just ignore them, there are weirdos like that everywhere. The nature is brilliant, everything is available and the operators are really friendly. It's also inexpensive, so a little gem for nature lovers - well worth a visit!Автоматично преведено.
- Christiane M.June 2017ПозитивниNatural CP. Peace and quiet. Nice people.Негативиnone!!!We have fallen in loveWe have been coming here for 3 years and have felt very comfortable right from the start. The peace and quiet and the beautiful natural surroundings never fail to impress us. The cleanliness and well-kept facilities contribute greatly to our relaxation. There is a lot of love in the details. The operators are incredibly friendly and make many things possible. We will definitely be back.Автоматично преведено.
- Daniela S.May 2017ПозитивниPure nature, dear operators who also take care,НегативиDon't forget mosquito sprayLong weekend with friendsIf you are looking for peace and relaxation, but also enjoy life and nature, this is the place for you! What we liked best was the generous layout of the pitches in the countryside . The super accommodating operators of this campsite who helped us out even after our vacation are remarkable .Автоматично преведено.
- Andreas W.April 2017ПозитивниFriendliness, cleanliness, peace and quiet.НегативиCoin-operated showers, which are very cheap, but coin-operated showers...Wonderful long weekend at Lake OlbaBack in January 2017, I was looking for a campsite to hold a May bonfire on April 30 and found one at Olbasee near Bautzen. A brief inquiry from me by email was answered super quickly and in a super friendly manner. After another email contact, we were immediately offered a free reservation for this... weekend, with the request to call in advance, which I naturally complied with. This phone call was also super friendly and we already had a good feeling about this place, which was not disappointed. When we arrived on Friday evening after endless traffic jams on the highway, the reception was already closed. A quick phone call to the number given at reception was all it took for the operator to come by bike to let us in and quickly take our personal details. She then took us by bike to one of the most beautiful spots near the lakeshore, which was also close to the expected may fire. We immediately felt very comfortable at this campsite. On the very first evening, we got out our fire bowl and barbecue, which is fortunately permitted here. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you, as the only sounds you could hear were the chirping of the birds. Lake Olba, which lies directly behind a small hunter's fence of the campsite, invites you to take a short hike on a circular path of a good 4 kilometers. For children (and not only for them), a nature trail around the surrounding ponds, with several possible routes, is highly recommended. These routes can also be taken by bike. At the reception you can get plenty of information material and personal leisure advice from the campsite operators, who took over the site only a few years ago and are now taking great pleasure in designing the site. Here you can feel the passion of experienced campers who enjoy their work. The campsite is very popular with permanent campers, but they were very friendly to us tourist campers. The sanitary facilities were quite basic, but always spotlessly clean. The operators assured me that a few modernizations will be carried out here in the near future. The only small drawback for us were the coin-operated showers, which are of course very cheap at 50 cents, but we would rather pay a little more per person and have unlimited showers. The fact that you get a key for the showers and toilets is obvious, as the Olba Lake beach is open to the public and bathers could gain unauthorized access. The key is therefore not a negative criterion. Unfortunately, the cool spring weather did not yet permit swimming in the lake, but you can well imagine that it must be great fun here. The May bonfire was also a great success, with lots of campers turning up to enjoy barbecued sausages and drinks at very reasonable prices. Conclusion: The perfect place for those seeking peace and quiet, cyclists, hikers and swimming enthusiasts. This extended weekend was actually far too short. You should take more time for this place.Автоматично преведено.
- J. M.June 2016Позитивниquiet nature camping on the lake with sun and shade spots - great sunsets - very nice operatorsНегативиSanitary only partly new, chemical disposal only at the receptionNature camping in the biosphere reserve by the lake with a great sunsetThe site is located in a pine-birch-oak forest with small clearings directly on a beautiful bathing lake - on the edge of the biosphere reserve "Heide-und Teichlandschaft" - green pitches not parceled out, pitch selection easy and uncomplicated. Bathing lake with shallow sandy beach, separate naturist... area (or sometimes just a quick so....), single mosquitoes in the evening - effective ballistol at the reception, sanitary facilities in a new, 2 old wash houses, tidy, clean - hot and cold shower for 50 Ct / 3min. children's playground, 2 volleyball courts, 2 table tennis tables. W-Lan for a fee. Dogs on a leash, not in the lake, good run from the rear area in the forest, pre-ordered bread rolls at the beach kiosk, Henry's store 500 m for the essentials, supermarket 15 km - ponds with waterfowl and nature trail nearby, information: House of 1000 ponds 1.5 km. - Mathias K.August 2015ПозитивниWell equipped, inexpensive, pleasantly close to the lake and beach and yet quiet and relaxed.НегативиSome of the permanent campers sometimes think they have to mark the boss. But you can ignore that.Every year for more than 10 years ....... we go to Lake Olba. Initially just a "youth group", it has now developed into more of a family outing for several families. The site is beautifully situated, with plenty of shade, which makes it attractive even in hot summers, and although the crowd is mixed, it tends to be families and cyclists... (very few youth groups). That's why the hare is usually dead after 10 pm, but that's what most people are looking for when camping. The operators and staff have always been friendly, helpful and very accommodating. I personally find that very pleasant. The lake and beach are about 3 minutes away from the site and invite you to swim and linger. The Strandimbe has a good Bocki, delicious fries and a bunch of other delicious StrandNomNom (there is also the store for the place with daily bread service). A campfire site by the lake can be rented on request, as well as paddle boats and pedal boats. There are also table tennis tables, table football, a playground and a volleyball court. So you can also do sports. If you like hiking (I don't know anyone who does), you can use the Olbasee as a starting point for extensive tours through Lusatia. All in all, it's my personal favorite campsite (also or perhaps because of the family atmosphere).Автоматично преведено.
