"Micro location": Small wood next to the pitch, river nearby, lots of trees. "Macro location": Close to Bern, modern wash houses, beautifully landscaped site. Good restaurant.

For Germans, of course, everything is quite expensive, especially the restaurant. However, it's probably not the fault of the place itself, but rather the general price difference between DE and CH.

That guests sometimes left their garbage in the bushes...

- very friendly staff - great location between the forest (great for biking and cycling) and the Aare (river swimming and bridge jumping possible) and yet close to Bern by bike/bus (very central) - Night's rest consistently observed - Beautiful and clearly laid out campsite - Good facilities with everything you need - many excursion possibilities nearby

Bungalow had a few minor flaws: - clogged freezer compartment - impractical, cheap shower cubicle - Narrow, swabian double bed - creaky floor Trampoline is unusable for experienced jumpers (hard plastic elements instead of elastic net, not suitable for bare feet, not suitable for trick jumps)

Plenty of shade for tents, various facilities for children (playground, goats, games, beach volleyball court...) Main road close to the campsite, therefore street traffic audible.

It's a shame that the great campsite restaurant isn't open longer, but closes a bit early in the evening. You could sit there for a long time, it's so nice. We would have liked TCS campsites to have a little more official relaxation in the regulations regarding night-time rest, so that conversations at a moderate volume don't have to be stopped at 10 pm. However, it wasn't the management that complained, but rather overly ping-pongy guests who seldom refer to the rule that at 10 p.m. people are only allowed to talk at a whispering volume.

Overnight stay as a cyclist without a tent in the POD possible, sleeping bags could be borrowed, one night in the chalet, as no POD was free, also pleasant on our only rainy day Very helpful staff who were very patient with us with us and even helped us with other overnight accommodation options at other TCS campsites Relaxed atmosphere on the site, spent very quiet nights Delicious food, ate the best fries "ever" Location directly on the Aare close to Bern Good value for money for us as average German camping vacationers

The location is perfect, with the lake nearby and a bus stop just a 3-minute walk away. The campsite is very clean and the staff are very friendly. A very big thank you, we had an excellent stay.

Little or no evening entertainment

A warm and friendly team! A lovely campsite that's great for kids! Playground and goats for the little ones to enjoy. We ate well! Simple but very good

Opening hours too early for the restaurant to close in high season. 8:30pm last order

We only stayed for one night. When we made the reservation we already thought the camping has nice staff. Arriving at the camping this was very true. I think actually that we have never been helped so pleasant before. Close to city but still nice located at river. Everything need and clean.

Very neat and clean, very friendly staff, very good food in the on-site restaurant. The rented 'pod' was new, nice and clean.

The river is not really an attractive swimming opportunity.
