"Schöner kleiner Platz mitten in den Weinbergen - Wir waren auf Durchreise für eine Nacht auf dem Campingplatz Saksida. Man wird sofort super freundlich empfangen. Wir durften uns unseren Platz selbst aussuchen. Man hat von allen Plätzen einen wunderschönen Blick in die Weinberge. Camper mit Zelt dürfen sogar zwischen den Weinreben campen. Die Sanitäranlagen sind wahnsinnig sauber! Es gibt insgesamt 4 Duschen und 4 Toiletten (2x für Damen, 2x für Herren) - aber für so einen überschaubaren Platz ist das mehr als ausreichend :-) Es gibt morgens einen Semmelservice. Und natürlich ist der hauseigene Wein super lecker!! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder :-)

"Authentic Croatian Hospitality and Perfect Base to explore the Istrian Peninsula - We (36,45)were here in summer 2021 (august) with our daughters (12,14 years old). Unforgettable 11 days lay behind us. Our stay was actually still too short to discover everything this fantastic peninsula has to offer. Each visitor gets a detailed check-in with tips depending on individual ideas of their own vacation (sports, culture, recreation, children, culinary...). Without these insider tips, we would certainly not have been able to enjoy many a dream beaches and local food in typical taverns (Konobas) in the back country. We would also probably have gotten lost in the jungle-like landscape (fabulous nature!) instead of making an individually guided off-road quad tour through the forests and canyons straight to waterfalls and stone caves ;-) TripAdvisor, Google etc. just cannot replace a personal recommendation. We were positively surprised about the great and honest recommendations. The spectrum of visitors ranges from young to old, from backpackers, couples and families with small children and teens. At the campsite you will find everything from single-walled one-man tents to folding caravan family tents, standard caravans and self-builds. Luckily, it is not oppressively quiet from 10pm on, but there are definitely no degenerating parties until the early morning hours. The camp awakes between 7am and 10pm. At the bar you can order hot and cold drinks from about 09am in the morning to about 11pm in the evening. As a cherry on top, on some evenings, with a little luck, you can also enjoy the pleasure of acoustic live music when some of the guests are picking up their guitars. During our stay, mutual respect and tolerance between the guests and hosts were guaranteed anytime as all matters of course. For me, by far the best camping in which I was ever a guest. If you’re up to it you’ll meet many wonderful people. I am sure that in this camp every guest will spend his vacation exactly the way he wants! Thanks to Deni, Pera & Team

"Lovely small and quiet campsite - It is lovely spot with very friendly owners. Not too many pitches. Very quiet. Great food and WINE!

"Kleiner Platz in ruhiger idyllischer Lage - Der kleine Platz mit einem kleinen Pool ist ruhig inmitten der Weinberge gelegen. Das Betreiberehepaar ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zufahrt ist etwas eng und steil aber auch mit einem 2,30 m breiten und 7,5 m langen Wohnwagen zu bewältigen. Auf dem Platz gibt es kaum Schatten, da die Bepflanzung noch recht klein ist. Es gibt keinen Shop, auch nicht in der näheren Umgebung. Brötchenservice am Morgen wird jedoch angeboten. Dafür betreibt das Ehepaar neben dem Camping noch ein kleines Restaurant in dem man excellent essen kann. Das 6-Gänge-Menü mit passender Weinbegleitung übertraf einfach alles. Ausflüge nach Triest und Ljubljana sind sehr empfehlenswert.

"Liebevoller kleiner Campingplatz an Weingut - - Kleiner Campingplatz in Weinberg mit Swimmingpool, überdachter Koch- und Grillnische, Sitzgelegenheit; - Wein direkt erwerbbar, jedoch sonst keine Einkaufsgelegenheit in Gehnähe, aber: - Tolles Restaurant mit Mehr-Gang-Überraschungsmenü und Weindegustation (unbedingt empfehlenswert - sehr aussergewöhnliches und feines Essen zu sehr fairem Preis, ein echtes Highlight) - Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge mit Fahrzeug, z.B. Lipizzaner Gestüt oder die Höhlen - Brötchenservice

"Geheimtipp mitten in den Weinbergen - Kleiner Camping und Wohnmobilplatz mitten in den Weinbergen. Ebene Standplätze auf Schotter rund um kleines Swimmingpool angeordnet, weitere Standplätze auf mehreren Terassen. Kleiner Kinderspielplatz. Gepflegte und saubere Sanitäranlagen. Tolles Restaurant angeschlossen - das 6-gängige Abendmenü mit Weinbegleitung ist unbedingt zu Empfehlen.

Located among vineyards and the sounds of nature, the Saksida Winery offers travelers a charming setting where you can leave your everyday worries behind. We offer space for up to 15 motor homes or campers and 20 pitches, complete with …showers, restroom facilities, and electrical hook up. Telephone and internet services are also available on site. Visitors can also take advantage of a large covered picnic area. Our facilities offer a perfect base to further explore the natural wonders our unique corner of the world has to offer. Getting Here The Saksida Winery is located in the village of Zalošče, in the heart of the Vipava valley. From Nova Gorica - 15 km From Ajdovscina - 13 km From Ljubljana - 100 km From Ronchi/Trieste airport (ITA) - 25 km From either Ljubljana or Trieste, take the Selo exit from the expressway, and head in the direction of Selo. On the local road from Nova Gorica, head towards Sezana, and in Dornkberk head towards Ajdovscina.
