Small but nice
We used the site for an overnight stay on the way home heading north. The site is located directly on the Route de Napoleon. It is small, very well maintained and has very large pitches. The ground is grass or gravel for camper vans. German and English are spoken. The reception was very friendly. The... sanitary facilities are very clean and well maintained. The site generally makes a very well-kept and clean impression. We are rather reserved when it comes to restaurants in France because we like to cook well ourselves. But the pizza in the small restaurant on site is a hit. Fresh and home-made. Great dough and a rich, tasty topping - definitely try it! There are also rooms to rent. 69 euros for a double room with two single beds and breakfast. 63 euros with a double bed. Ideal for bikers. The place itself has a quiet atmosphere. Only the nearby D85 brings noise to the site. However, it is very quiet at night. An ideal place for a stopover or to visit the nearby cable suspension bridge.
