The supermarket is ok, good selection and always friendly.
The restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced.
Fortunately... there was no entertainment and the children's disco was barely audible.
Sanitary buildings are not the newest but ok sometimes we had to queue for the showers which never took long or we just went later.
Unfortunately no hot water for washing up but we got it in the disabled shower, you just have to know how to help yourself.
The beach is super beautiful and was never crowded. The water is fantastic.
You can hire kayaks and surfboards.
And what we found very pleasant was the fact that there were no sun loungers and parasols for hire, which is always terrible when the most beautiful beaches are paved over with parasols and sun loungers like in Vieste and the entire coast afterwards.
Unfortunately there were many campers with dogs which is very exhausting as there are always dogs barking at everything from morning to night.
The site is 8km from Vieste, which is great for strolling around in the evening, eating ice cream etc. but you have to be mobile to get there by bike, I think it's too far at best with an e-bike, which you can now also rent.Automatski prevedeno.

Pitches are freely selectable, under old pine trees.NegativnoThe square is very restless due to the constant driving of the employees on the street through the square. The square has a loudspeaker system where the opening hours of the restaurant and store are announced almost daily between 1 and 2 pm in two or three languages. A nightmare for a midday rest!Nature camping in the forestUnfortunately bad if you arrive between 1 and 4 pm, you are parked in a collection area and from 4 pm an employee comes with a golf cart and allocates a space. There is no information about toilets, showers, sales point or water connection.
But you are compensated by the beautiful location and the super bay.

In the high season, several excursion boats come from surrounding harbors from 11.30 am to 2.30 pm. So rather early and in the late afternoon on the pebble beach ;) Very good restaurant/pizzeria! In the high season there is a party in the beach club... every evening from 9pm to midnight. But the volume is fine (our two children were able to sleep well). Also important... No animation! Not even in high season! Almost all pitches under old trees with lots of shade! A centrally located toilet block that is cleaned several times a day (but only flushed with a hose). Toilet seats and free hot water (only in the showers) are available. This is not standard for southern Italy. However, no toilet brushes. This means that from time to time the residue of the previous guest is visible until the next cleaning. All in all, a wonderful little pearl of the Gargano!Automatski prevedeno.

The campsite is reached via winding roads along the coast of the beautiful Gargano. About 10 km south of Vieste and totally secluded, the campsite is located in its own bay surrounded by steep cliffs. These also invite young people to go cliff... jumping. We really enjoyed our time there, if it gets a bit too quiet you can simply go to Vieste, 10 km away. For sightseeing, shopping or a stroll. There are also a lot of campsites there, but none have the charm of Baia di campi. For us, it is one of the most beautiful campsites we have ever been to.Automatski prevedeno.

We really enjoyed standing in the tall pine forest. The beach is beautiful, with pebbles that are completely polished - they look like they've been painted. An island in the bay with a huge colony of seagulls. Great little supermarket,... very good restaurant. 2 bars at either end of the bay, although the bar by the restaurant was usually quite full and noisy. We liked the one at the other end better. The greengrocer has great antipasti, and the supermarket sells excellent local olive oil in bottles and canisters. You can taste it over a meal in the restaurant. Unfortunately, for us as camper vans with bicycles only, it was too far from Vieste for a permanent stay, so we only made a stopover there before driving to our regular campsite in Vieste. However, we liked it so much that we extended our stay by a day. The campsite was open, but unfortunately nothing else. We were right by the sea. But the Zanzare (Bavarian Stanzn) drove us away. The site is beautifully situated in a bay. The beach is a bit rocky but nice for swimming (not in May as it was too cold). Many pitches are right by the sea, a little above, you have to go down a flight of steps to the beach.Automatski prevedeno.

Aerobics on the beach and the poor quality music was blasted all over the beautiful beach. - Thomas K.May 2013The place has more than 1000 places.During our stay in the preseason were only about 80-100 of them occupied.There are beautiful pitches with sea views.The self-service market is relatively inexpensive.With canoes / kayaks (rental) can explore the nearby sea caves.Gravel beach and water clean.Only the... sanitary area is too small for the size of the place.There is only 1 sanitary area in the middle of the square.Could cause problems in the high season!? - Peter K.June 2011When we arrived, the pitch in a bay was at most 1/3 full. At first we pitched our tent and car directly on the (small) cliff overlooking the water and the island, but after 2 nights with little sleep due to strong gusts of wind, we moved to the back where it was much quieter. Another reason for the move... was an incident on the first evening at around 10.45 pm when a groundsman loudly demanded (shouted at) us in Italian to drive our car away immediately and if we didn't comply immediately he would call the carabinieri and we would have to leave the site immediately. He wanted to give a compatriot, a newcomer with a camper van, a better view. In this and other situations we realized that as foreigners we were not very welcome guests on this campsite. The toilet facilities and washing facilities on this campsite deserve special mention: everything is always very clean and the toilets are available with either ceramic bowls or standing toilets. I can't say what it's like in the only wet area in high season. There is a restaurant, bar, shopping facilities, fruit/vegetable stall and newspaper kiosk. Boats can be hired on the beach. Swimming and snorkeling is possible in calm seas. Not many fish are to be expected in the water and the usual civilization garbage in the water spoils the pleasure somewhat.Automatski prevedeno.
