Replies by e-mail will be answered, unlike Camping Cinque Terre in Levanto. Deposit is not necessary. Marco, as the "owner", does a good job and looks after things. The site is terraced and therefore not easily accessible for large camper vans... or caravans. These pitches are located in the lower part of the site. Nevertheless, it is still relatively narrow and requires driving skills.
The sanitary facilities are good, clean, plentiful and equipped with paper, even if the site is 80% booked. However, the sinks are an "architectural highlight"....The planner has probably never washed a plate in his entire life. The water pressure is enormous and the taps are at eye level.....Showering at the same time is the order of the day. Have fun washing up....judge for yourself...😊....The restaurant has great service and the menu is extensive and affordable. CommentPoor serviceYou write an email for a request at 12:03 pm. After not even receiving a confirmation of receipt, I tried to reach someone by phone for the first time at 3:05 pm. I was briefly told that I would receive an email in response. After this did not arrive in my mailbox at 6:15 pm, I tried again at 6:21 pm... to get a confirmation for the next 3 nights by phone. Now I received the incomprehensible and unacceptable statement that there was no more space available. Why couldn't I have been told this during the phone call at 12:03, what's the point? I was robbed of 6 hours in which I could have looked for an alternative. Obviously they don't need to be customer-oriented.Automatski prevedeno.
Peter P.September 2022Pozitivno- Great pitches for all types of campers, - Rental fridges for € 3.5 per day, - Lockers for valuables, - Close to the town and the beach, - We had a good night's sleep at all times - despite the young crowd - Good, relatively new sanitary buildings with good washing facilities - Good pitch facilities (concrete paths, many electricity columns)Negativno- Church bells (earplugs) - Odor in the sanitary buildings - Steep footpath to the pitch (wrested from the slope) - Wooden railings on the terraces unstableGreat place, pitches very variedWe were on the site for 4 nights in September; it is divided into 3 areas, which are separated from each other: down in the valley the large places for WoWo and WoWa, very nicely loosely divided with trees and planters; in the middle (up the slope) places for small WoMo (VW bus format) on beautiful terraces... (here you may have to maneuver a little when changing a pitch further away) and in the upper part cozy terraces under olive trees for larger and smaller tents. (you may have to maneuver a little on arrival and departure if you want to change to a pitch further along the edge) and in the upper part there are comfortable terraces under olive trees for larger and smaller tents - with electricity columns everywhere. The sanitary blocks are numerous; I can't understand the criticism about the lack of soap: there are CPs that don't even have toilet paper - and that's very common, e.g. all over Corsica! Nevertheless, a small point of criticism about the sanitary blocks: even after the morning cleaning, there was an unpleasant smell of urine in 2 blocks - I couldn't explain it. The reception was in good English, the reception was open from 8:00 to 21:00 and those arriving were always shown the pitch in question. When we arrived, the site was still almost full and we were offered a single pitch. Levanto is directly adjacent to the campsite and offers the flair of a typical small Italian town: a variety of small stores, cozy enotecas, good (but not cheap) osterias and restaurants, pizzerias ... In the evening, the streets are really busy. Then you return home to your tent, enjoy the peace and quiet on the campsite with a glass of wine and look forward to the next day. We'll be back.
One more comment on the "early arrivals": We have seen caravans and camper vans arriving at the campsite at 9:00 (!) in the morning! At this time, the booked pitch is of course not yet free and cannot be occupied. So the arrivals jammed up in the morning and blocked the exit for the departures! Please don't arrive until the afternoon - otherwise chaos is inevitable and frustration is high.Automatski prevedeno.- Beate S.May 2022PozitivnoBeautifully situated, lots of plants, hot showers includedNegativnoNo soap in the toilet area. When I complained about this, the staff reacted in an unfriendly and uncomprehending manner. Seems like what other campers write has been a problem for a long time and no change is desired.No soap, but good locationUnfriendly, unwilling and uncomprehending regarding the lack of soap dispensers in both toilet areas. Instead of two disinfectants at both entrances to the toilet areas on the left and right, soap could at least be put in on one side. The upper toilet block lacks hooks in the toilets to hang up a jacket... or bag. Nice location, lots of plants. With car and tent for one person €23/day. The gate is closed at 11 pm, you can only get in as a pedestrian with a code. The reception closes at half past nine (9.30 pm), so it is not possible to arrive later. Levanto is a great place for a vacation, but the staff/management could be better and doesn't seem so harmonious. Otherwise a clean campsite with all the usual facilities. A bit too labyrinthine for children or people with poor orientation. For seniors few places near the entrance, many places further away with many steps. Book in good time! The pitches are beautifully situated in the countryside (small nach, lots of trees and a view of a small vineyard). The sanitary facilities were very nice, modern and clean. There is a restaurant and bar on site, but the town center is just a few minutes' walk... away. The hiking trail to Monterosso starts right outside the campsite gate. The sanitary facilities are cleaned in the morning when most people are there, at half past 7 in the morning. This should happen early in the morning before the biggest rush. The guy who cleans stands behind you with a hose and sprays out the whole system, the people... who are in it also get wet from it, I find it cheeky. The hiking trail to the Cinque Terre starts directly in front of the site. The train station for the... Cinque Terre Express is within walking distance. It is a good place close to the Cinque Terre. We don't need entertainment!!! We have been there twice with our two children. The children were between 6-9 years old. The proximity to the beach is great. Levanto is a place that is not overrun by tourists.... For us, the place offers everything we need: Proximity to the beach Culinary food is possible Hiking Sightseeing excursions (e.g. Genoa, Cinque Terre, etc.) Peace and quiet (except church bells) Small to medium-sized site It's a shame that the playground above the olive road has been converted into pitches. But our children also found other activities such as badminton, soccer, pétanque, painting stones, etc. In terms of atmosphere and location, this is one of the most beautiful campsites we have visited in 5 years of camping.Automatski prevedeno.

I would generally recommend booking with a caravan/motorhome, as the number of pitches is limited. Plenty of space for tents or small mobile homes. Very helpful and friendly staff, good restaurant on site. Bread rolls could be better, but there is a bakery... nearby. No store. But you can buy everything you need in the supermarkets in the center of Levanto. Sanitary facilities equipped with light barriers that take some getting used to, hiking trails also towards the Cinque Terre start right from the campsite. Train station approx. 1km away. Didn't need our car once for the week in Levanto. The campsite is ideally located for visiting the towns of the Cinque Terre and for hiking in the area. From the train station (approx. 15 minutes on foot) there is a regular connection to all the towns of the Cinque Terre. The campsites are... set up between olive trees. The pitches are not huge, but the space was sufficient for us. The sanitary facilities are relatively new and were always clean. There is also a recommended restaurant on the site. Alternatively, there are many restaurants/bars in the town center and you can buy your own food in several supermarkets in the town.Automatski prevedeno.

This campsite is only partially suitable for large motorhomes (narrow access and narrow paths on the campsite). When we were there, there were... about 50% VW buses. The restaurant on the site is great. A reservation for dinner is necessary (rare on a campsite). Bread rolls are available in town. The sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly and are in very good condition. The WLAN access is unfortunately overloaded in the evening.
