Jennifer P.July 2023PozitivnoWe are here for the second time and will definitely be back. We received such a warm welcome on arrival that it felt like "coming home". Both last year and this year we only used 1 of the 2 wash houses, the closest one, but the second one would also be within easy reach because the space is not huge. The wash house is absolutely great, is kept super clean, the showers with hot water. I love hot water. The shower tokens cost 50 cents for 4 minutes. The time stops when you turn off the water. There's a snack bar within a few minutes' walk. Mega tasty ... or at Rewe, right next to the campsite. A few kilometers further on, which is also easy to do by bike, there are also Lidl, Aldi and Co. The children's playground is great and we see young and old playing table tennis together every day. The beach right next to the campsite is small but nice. It's definitely enough for the campers who come here. The excursion possibilities from Neustadt are simply great (Grömitz, Timmendorfer Strand, Scharbeutz, Lübeck and so on) and if you like you can get there by bike. We feel very comfortable here and will definitely be back.NegativnoWe have nothing to complain about.Again and again with pleasureSee above.

Given the large number of dogs, the dog beach is also very disappointing. Although the site is divided into plots, they are not separated by hedges, which makes it very difficult if there are too many dogs of all sizes and numbers right next to each other.Beach/dog beachUnfortunately, the name "on the beach" is not the program. The beach is about 4-5 meters, of which about 3m is usable. The individual sections are very small, estimated at 50 meters. The dog beach is 2 sections large. No opportunity to really stay there to enjoy the sun and swim.
The beach promenade... is very nice and leads into a small forest. However, it is not
in the sun as the ground is paved and gets very hot.
There are plenty of shops here.

Outrageously expensive!Unfriendly place for cyclists and dogsWe were on our Baltic Sea coast bike tour at the beginning of June 2018 for one night with tent and dog on the site. The dog was outrageously expensive (28,- EUR 2 pers.+tent+dog)! On this note, we were told that we should be grateful that the dog was allowed to be there at all. The sanitary facilities... were locked at 10 pm. This means that showering and washing is no longer possible. As an exception, the nice sanitary lady let us in at 9.58 pm. But the water was completely cold. And taking a cold shower for 50 cents is really stupid when it's also cold outside. Someone should have told us this when we checked in, as it's easy to overlook the signs in the sanitary facilities. There are no seating facilities or similar for cyclists. That's a bit of a bummer, as you sometimes like to sit at a table when camping. We were glad that everything was much better at other campsites!Automatski prevedeno.

It is located directly on the Baltic Sea and you can reach everything by bike. There is no store or restaurant, but the nearest market is only about 100m away and the nearest restaurant is within walking distance. The sanitary facilities... are very well maintained. The site itself is quite nice. As many have already written, there is a supermarket just around the corner. If you drive a bit you can also find other shops. What is not so positive are the sanitary facilities. They are only cleaned once a day and then again... in the evening. The operators should think about whether it might be more pleasant for all guests if the sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day. The place makes a very loud and crowded impression in the high season, but this depends on which row you stand in. We were near the entrance/entrance and it was sometimes very noisy due to the traffic. The sanitary facilities were very dirty, I'm sorry... if I have to say that, but if I have to pay 50 cents for 4 min. showers I can expect that they are not only cleaned once a day (at lunchtime). We found the excessive prices for dogs to be an extreme shortcoming. They are allowed but not welcome!!! In the main season 6.-€ per day per dog is in my opinion a rip-off, especially since there is no dog shower and stand with poop bags, as well as far too few garbage cans to dispose of the legacies. Despite this shortcoming, all the dog owners behaved really impeccably and in an exemplary manner, we didn't see any dog waste anywhere on the site that hadn't been removed. The location of the site is ideal, you can walk or cycle along the promenade to Neustadt or Pelzerhaken. A large supermarket is just around the corner where you can get everything you need. The restaurant on the beach is highly recommended, the pizza is delicious.Automatski prevedeno.

We had a motorhome pitch in the lower area ("near the beach" option). Huge pitch, not far from the good sanitary facilities. Direct access to the beach, 2 minutes' walk. There is also a children's playground at the lower pitches. Waste disposal directly at the entrance, garbage... somewhat impractical only in the middle of the site. The site is very clean and tidy, many permanent campers are certainly one of the reasons. The peace and quiet is almost eerie - maybe it's different in the height of summer, but it was great in May. The reception is incredibly helpful, always a friendly chat. The nearest restaurant is also on the beach - a pizzeria with an Indian owner that also serves currywurst and schnitzel. It sounds strange, but it's gigantic - and the pizza is world class. The promenade or its offshoot runs directly along the beach. It's a 5-minute walk to the Ostseelounge, a moderately trendy beach bar, which also has a playground. Another 20 minutes later you are in Neustadt - a wonderful walk. And Neustadt offers some beautiful locations. We were there with 2 small children and a dog - and would come back in a heartbeat.Automatski prevedeno.

Very nice in itself, right on the beach, which is very narrow, very stony and without beach chairs (we wore bathing shoes, so we didn't see that as a problem. It was about a 10-minute walk to the dog beach, which wasn't too bad... but very, very narrow - lots of dogs... and very dirty... The sanitary facilities were also very dirty. Cleaning once a day in high season is definitely not enough. Our son was locked in the toilet without any notice and our pitch neighbor was surprised at 7 in his toilet cubicle, which was opened with a special opener. When it rains, the pitch is immediately under water...less suitable for campers. Otherwise good location, right next to the supermarket and beach...Automatski prevedeno.

There is no comparable site in the immediate vicinity. The price-performance ratio is just right. The men and women at reception were always friendly to us and also to other guests. Anyone who complains here should first familiarize... themselves with the Nordic people. All questions were always answered patiently. All important information is given on a note on arrival, so that nobody can complain that the showers are locked at 10 pm. 50 cents for a 4-minute shower is ok, as the time can be stopped. The sanitary facilities are cleaned well on a regular basis. However, it is unbelievable how dirty some guests leave the toilets. The cleaners are not to be envied. The location of the campsite is ideal, you can walk or cycle along the promenade to Neustadt or Pelzerhaken. Bicycles can be rented. The sandy beach is great, sloping gently, there are no beach chairs, no fancy-pants, nice families, few groups of young people. You can relax in the evening on the beach promenade and enjoy the sunset. The supermarket is just around the corner. There is a power connection for everyone, depending on the location, extensions are required or can be rented. There are plenty of sinks outside and inside. The showers are locked from 10pm, great thing, as they are clean in the morning, unfortunately not all campsites have this. The pitch was 100 square meters, perfectly adequate for a caravan or tent, well-kept grounds, everything clean,... cleaning lady very tidy. We found the staff very nice.
