- Rainer O.September 2018PozitivnoQuiet, clean sanitary facilitiesNegativnoSmall WCs, hard floor, expensive WLANPeace and quiet in the off-seasonWe came to the "Cros du Mouton" because our "first choice", the Bonporteau campsite, was fully booked on September 10th. We received a very friendly welcome (in English) at Cros de Mouton. Checking in and registering with the ACSI card (very reasonable all-inclusive price!!) was no problem at all. The... campsite is located on a hill on the outskirts of Cavalaire. The pitches are laid out in terraces and are relatively flat. Due to the location and the layout, there are a few meters in altitude to overcome when walking to the sanitary facilities, the small market or the pool. The pitches are a decent size. However, the ground is very hard, so good metal or better steel pegs may be required. At our pitch (I don't know if this is the case at all pitches) there was a 10A electricity and water connection directly available (without a meter). The sanitary facilities were clean. A deduction is made here at most for the small cobwebs in - and the large cobwebs above the showers. The size of the toilets (approx. 65 x 100 cm) and most of the showers (approx. 80 x 120 cm) is also to be criticized. But! There are also a few large showers (in the middle of the sanitary building). The spacious wash cubicles are also pleasant. Toilet seats and toilet paper are available in the toilets. Regarding the pool, it has a depth of 180 cm throughout - after approx. 2-3 m at the entrance. It is not possible to stand in the pool or at the edge of the pool. However, there is a small, separate area for children and an extra "water play area". The very good baguettes have already been praised. Unfortunately, the croissants were regularly too dark. Overall, we enjoyed the very quiet campsite and are happy to recommend it to others. Addendum: Dogs are allowed on the site on a lead. However, there is virtually no opportunity to take your dog for a walk and let it do its business. There are also no poop bags or garbage cans. To be fair, however, it must also be said that - at least with the ACSI Card - the dog costs nothing extra.Automatski prevedeno.
- Annette W.September 2018PozitivnoCleanliness of the sanitary facilities. Large flat plots, great pool, the peace and quiet!!!NegativnoFree WLAN is actually standard nowadays.Interesting place in charming surroundingsWe are currently staying here and particularly enjoy the great location, the empty beaches and the view of the sea from the pool. The sanitary facilities are not the newest but very clean. You get the impression that they are cleaned throughout the day! The baguette you get on the pitch tastes delicious... and is freshly baked here in the morning. Most of the pitches are well shaded and very large. Despite the low season in September, most of the pitches were already pre-booked. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back a few more times!!!Automatski prevedeno.
- Vinzenz T.May 2016PozitivnoAway from the hustle and bustle of the city and yet not too far away, terrace with a beautiful view, swimming pool and restaurant.NegativnoNone.Wonderfully situated pitch with a beautiful view of the bay of Cavalair.Stay in the pre-season from mid-May to the beginning of June 2016 via ACSI Card. The pitch for the caravan plus car including 2 people and electricity with 10 amps then costs just €17.00. In the high season, prices are significantly higher: http://www.crosdemouton.com/medias/files/tarifs-cros-de-mouton-2016.pdf#page=3&zoom=100,-6,50... The site is located on a hillside on the north-eastern edge of the town. It is about 2.5 km to the town center - the port - which is therefore within easy walking distance. The site, which has about 120 pitches, is laid out in terraces, so that many pitches offer a wonderful view of the bay of Cavalaire. The grounds are very well maintained, the pitches are very spacious - approx. 100 to 120 m² - and bordered by hedges. There is also a proper restaurant and a mini-market on the site. Baguettes and croissants can be ordered in advance. There is also a beautifully designed pool with a swimming pool and paddling pool for children. Several play areas are available. The two somewhat older but renovated sanitary buildings in different locations are very well maintained and have the usual facilities. A washing machine can also be used. The changing staff at reception are polite and helpful. One of the ladies also spoke German. The same applies to the cleaning staff. We liked it there very much, also that the city with its interesting harbor was within walking distance. Conclusion. In the low season ideal to spend a cozy several-week vacation there, in the high season it is advisable to book in advance. I like this place much better than the ones further down in the city.Automatski prevedeno.
- Uwe Michael L.August 2011PozitivnoCleanliness, friendlinessNegativnoYou have to be able to drive the caravan, if not the boss will help. Our first camping vacationOur honeymoon trip to this campsite took place in August 2005. My wife was rather skeptical because she had never been on the road with a caravan and I was hopeful that she would be enthusiastic, but we arrived there with our rental caravan and felt comfortable from the very first minute. The cleanliness... of the sanitary facilities was important to my wife and she was not disappointed. This vacation and this campsite have meant that we have always been traveling with our own caravan since 2008, because this campsite has left its mark on us. Friendliness, location, cleanliness, ambience - all top. Thank you from us. Sarah and Uwe LiebigAutomatski prevedeno.
