Very friendly operators, cold drinks as supplies, clean san. Facilities, naturally kept place and not so sterile and paved. And if you like peace and quiet, you're in good hands here.

From here you have very good opportunities for hiking or cycling. There are plenty of beautiful and (partly) well-signposted hiking trails. Partly because sometimes the map and new or old markings do not... match or are no longer available. However, in combination with the map and the very accurate Maps.me app, it is no problem to find your way around the area. The campsite is simply a dream for campers who like peace and quiet. Even at 32-34°C during the day, we had pleasant night temperatures of 11°C. Free parking at the train station (the train to Altenahr, Mayschoss, ... on to Bonn) runs every hour and back again, making it a very good starting point for hikes.Automatski prevedeno.- Melanie B.June 2019PozitivnoPeace, natureNegativnoFood supplyHappy Whitsun with your dogThe Denntal campsite is located at the end of a road in the middle of the forest. Some hiking trails start directly from the campsite. So it's ideal for dogs and their owners. The sanitary facilities are nice, spacious and clean. Bread rolls are sold in the morning. Unfortunately there are only 2 choices.... You can only buy the bare essentials at the reception. There is a small playground. In the surrounding area you can go hiking and cycling as well as visit the wine villages. We would still go there to relax.Automatski prevedeno.

The access road, the garbage area and the areas in front of the utility building could do with a lot more maintenance. We noticed that there were a lot of building sites on the site at the time. When we arrived, we were allocated a pitch as not all pitches were available due to the rainy weather. However, the large vehicle of... the person next to us was already parked on the pitch assigned to us. Even after talking to him, he didn't want to move the vehicle. So we couldn't park our motorhome on the paved part of the site, but had to park on the soggy grassy area. First of all, we had to clear up three dog turds. The site management should have intervened here! Furthermore, the advertising of a quiet pitch at the time of our stay did not seem justified to us. There was partying and bass-heavy music on the pitch late into the night every day. The generously designed sanitary buildings are basically very nice. Unfortunately, we found that they were not cleaned properly during the entire period of our stay. The same plaster was in the shower drain every day. The washbasins looked unkempt and the dust on the washbasin shelves was not removed. Many of the shower door handles were loose. There was paper on the floor in the toilets every day and this was also not removed. This could be remedied immediately by consistent monitoring by the cleaning staff. However, the restaurant at the end of the campsite is highly recommended. Here you can indulge yourself with fresh products from the small menu at reasonable prices. All in all, it is a pity that this beautifully situated and beautifully designed site has easily remediable shortcomings that could easily be rectified by more consistent site management. We will come back and report whether the situation has changed.Automatski prevedeno.

The pitches are large enough with good infrastructure, the ground is very hard and it is difficult to secure the awning with normal pegs. Well suited for relaxing. The site manager is very... nice and helpful. Bread rolls can be ordered in advance. The restaurant on site is excellent, quaintly furnished with delicious dishes on the menu. The nearest shops are 3.4 km away, and you can only buy the bare essentials on site. Bike rental on site with top e-MTBs. The shortcoming we noticed was the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. They are well equipped, but unfortunately not cleaned enough (perhaps due to the low season). The sensor-controlled taps at the sink were also a bit annoying. All in all, we had a nice, relaxing vacation on the site.Automatski prevedeno.

(Alternative to 'noisy' campsites on the Moselle and Rhine) Sanitary area clean and well equipped.Negativno-----Heavenly peace....We (3 friends) stayed at the Denntal campsite with a small caravan and a small tent. ACSI Card price = €19 The pitches are so big that it was no problem to pitch the tent right next to the caravan and also the car. Some pitches are separated by hedges and electricity, water and a gully for waste water... are accessible on the border. The site is very quiet (a little owl can be heard at night) as it is at the end of a cul-de-sac in a side valley. Everything is well maintained and the sanitary building was always clean (note: showers are in the 'barefoot area', so bring slippers as the floor is quite cold). Payment for the shower is by prepaid chip card. This is very convenient, as it means you don't have to collect coins and there's no need to worry about soap in your hair and no more small change.... Bread roll service and a small range of \'important\' things are offered at the reception - supermarket only accessible by car. There is plenty to visit around the campsite (30km radius) (Eltz Castle, Lavadome, Andernach, Mayen....) We would like to thank the friendly staff and will definitely spend time at the Denntal campsite again!Automatski prevedeno.

If our rating is not too high, it is probably because we are otherwise almost only on 5-star campsites. However, the ratings should by no means appear negative, on the contrary, everything... is ok and definitely recommended. The village is not far away and you can go for a nice walk in the forest. There is also a restaurant nearby, which is not part of the campsite, but unfortunately we were not allowed to take our dogs there. However, this is not the campsite owners' fault and they probably can't influence it either, it's a decision made by the restaurant owner.
