"Very clean. Top location. Hospitable - Top location with a beautiful view of the Gippelberg. Very clean sanitary facilities with nice showers. Friendly owner, who as a service takes you away to a starting point for your mountain hike in the area. Beautiful mountain hikes to make on the Gippel and the Goller.

"Nice campsite - Very nice campsite, clean, helpful manager, we called quite late for accommodation in the previous campsite refused us which in the end was the maximum advantage for us. Sites for both caravans and tents.

"Kernhof and its pleasant campsite - The smaller open camp is on a flat valley between the hills (higher than the highest peaks in the Czech Republic 😁). The campsite is nice, clean and cozy. Plenty of electricity connection. WiFi connection also sufficient. Slightly more challenging hikes are possible to the surrounding area to 2 peaks more than 1600m high with beautiful views. (The campsite is about 700m high). About 6 km away - St. Aegyd am Neuwalde - there is also a small swimming pool and a supermarket. There is a small shop and of course a pub :-) . OVERALL A NICE PLACE 👍.

"Strength lies in tranquillity - In the fall, when it gets cooler after this hot summer, we pack away our SUPs, load up our bikes, get out our hiking boots and set off in search of a suitable campsite. Camping is all the rage these days and for many people it's obviously a viable alternative. But as soon as the summer is over, it's easier to find a place to stay again. This weekend, we opted for the Gippelblick. We arrive there in the evening in the rain and are greeted warmly, which makes us feel welcome. There is a free choice of pitches. The permanent campers are separated from the tourists. The site itself is lovingly maintained and is located in a pleasant and uncrowded valley. The sanitary facilities are adequate and spotlessly clean and we look forward to the next morning. Right next to the campsite is a cycle path into the Traisental valley, which is easy to manage even for us occasional cyclists without electricity. We leave the camel theater and its restaurant on the left, no entrance with dog, but we enjoy the excellent cuisine and pastries of the Mahonie at the sweet station of St. Ägyd. The Gippelblick campsite is a great starting point for cycling tours into the Traisental valley, to the Hubertussee lake as far as Mariazell, for hikes up the Göller and Gippel mountains, or simply to enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding area. It was great, we are happy to recommend the place and look forward to the next time.

Our camp site is situated in Kernhof, about 55km south of St. Pölten (the capital of Lower Austria) in the upper Traisental (a valley) and 20km away from the famous place of pilgrimage Mariazell. It is a camp site in …the foothills of the Alps, at the foot of "Gippel" (1669m) and "Göller" (1766m) with a fantastic view of the mountain "Gippel". Kernhof is located in the most densely wooded area of Austria; with its numerous walks and hiking paths it is the ideal holiday resort for people loving nature and looking for recreation. Tumble dryer, single washing-cubicles, day room, ski-room The "Kameltheater Kernhof" is only 400m away. It is a park with flowers and animals, an inn, guided tours, camel riding, vantage point, animals for children to caress and more. The heated outdoor swimming-pool is 5km away.
