I'm not even talking about the impeccably clean showers and toilets. As for the emptying of the chemical scores, I had the impression of entering a sterile room. French campsites should come and take lessons in site and exterior maintenance, and in the kindness of their owners.NegativnoNothing to sayCamping carThat's all there is to it.

Mr. Huber organized this at short notice. Sanitary facilities absolutely top and clean.... Small store and gas bottle exchange on site.
I am traveling in Europe with the motorhome but I have never experienced such a groundsman who takes such good care of the guests.

Leo Huber, owner and groundsman, is friendly and helpful. A new sanitary building was built two years ago. Everything is spotlessly clean and well maintained. There is a small but well-stocked store that has everything a camper's heart desires. Hikes of all levels can be... undertaken from the site. The Appenzellerbahn train stop is about 10-15 minutes away.

But the distances are short.Super!We arrived very early and were able to wait comfortably on a waiting area until the pitch was free. Then we were picked up and led to the pitch. We hadn't even got out of the car yet (no exaggeration!) when the caravan was tared out with boards, on the pitch! Unbelievable, but true!
There are two sanitary... facilities, one older, one super new, both very clean. A store with food and bread service. Very nice operator.
Everything you need for hiking is close by. Kronberg cable car, hiking trails. There is a rope park, paragliding school, monastery with shop. In Gonten, be sure to try the Motzers Nusszopf bakery. Brilliant!

Michèl+Beatrice R.July 2020PozitivnoPerfectNegativnononeThis is hospitalityThe place is perfect for us, you are received and instructed directly by the groundsman and also equipped with large wooden wedges, the sanitary facilities are very new and super clean. The showers have to be paid separately with 1Fr., which is not bad, because the amount of water is right and when you... turn off the time stops. There is a small store on the site and it is possible to order bread. Barefoot path and hiking trails, Kronbergbahn is just behind the square.
I personally recommend various campsite operators to camp at Leo for a week and learn what it means to be a host for a region at normal prices.
Last but not least: Every guest who leaves is bid farewell with a handshake or a greeting........

If you're looking for a fly in the ointment, water and sewage directly on the pitch would be great.Extended weekendWe were looking for a campsite in the region for a long weekend. At first the campsite was fully booked, but then I received an email from the operator saying that he had a pitch available for me after all due to a cancellation.
When we arrived, the campsite warden Leo gave us a very friendly and helpful... welcome. And so it went on - the campsite is a real insider tip!
We will definitely be back. The sanitary facilities are built into the barn and are very modern. They were also very clean despite the large number of people on the campsite! The leisure facilities around the campsite are brilliant and very varied.

The owners are very friendly and... gave us very good advice on leisure activities. Criticism was also gladly accepted.
