"Well-kept place with a great swimming pool - Low occupancy in the low season, but therefore particularly quiet. A highlight is the swimming pool, which is covered in bad weather. The perfect starting point for hikes (including the Lac de Soulcem) and a visit to the Niaux cave.

Do you enjoy spending your holiday in the mountains and going on spectacular mountain hikes? Flower Camping La Bexanelle is located in the beautiful Vicdessos valley in the Ariège department in the heart of the French Pyrenees. In the immediate …vicinity of the campsite, you can take beautiful hikes through the rugged mountain landscapes for which the Pyrenees are so famous. It is also a small-scale site in a natural setting, right next to the Vicdessos river. The facilities include a new swimming pool, various sports and play options and a cosy cafeteria. This wooded site has several parking areas where you can experience real camping life. The pitches are generously sized and clearly marked out. Some of the pitches are almost directly on the river. There are also various types of accommodation for rent, including a number of lovely chalets. The largest can accommodate up to ten holidaymakers, but you can also rent a well-equipped chalet for one person. From most pitches and accommodation, you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The swimming pool is located in the centre of the site. As part of the modernisation, a sliding roof is being installed so that the pool can also be used when it is cold or raining. There is also a large paddling pool where children can let off steam and the slide provides extra water fun.

From Tarascon, follow the signs for the Niaux caves. Then drive through the valley to Vicdessos, where the campsite isa signposted at the entrance to the village.
