A quiet, very idyllic place if you are lucky enough (like us) to be in the front row on the Lahn. Village store 5 minutes' walk away, great for canoeing/kayaking. Excursions to Giessen and Marburg are easily possible by bike!

Quiet campsite in an idyllic location
Very idyllic location. Sanitary facilities are older but always clean and well maintained. Will come again.

The excellent location on the River Lahn between the cities of Giessen and Marburg.
Negativno
The sanitary facilities are clean, but not up to date. A shower token for one euro is exorbitant.
Beautiful campsite
The campsite is located directly on the River Lahn, not far from the cities of Marburg, Giessen and Wetzlar. Registration is at the "Lahnblick" restaurant, which is no longer in operation. The manager is an elderly lady who assigns you to the pitch in a very friendly manner and makes no fuss about filling... in the registration forms. You can park your caravan very easily because there are concrete areas scattered all over the site. Unfortunately, there is only one sanitary building, which probably dates back to the seventies. There are only three toilets in the men's bathroom, which are very cramped. If you sit on the bowl, you bump your legs against the door. There is no storage space for clothes in the shower. Nevertheless, the pitch can be recommended for short stays. One night for one person with a caravan, car and electricity costs €13. The €1 shower token is overpriced because the shower only lasts three minutes and it takes a while for hot water to flow.

Beautifully situated site directly on the Lahn, well maintained and well looked after by the groundsman, who is also the owner. Anyone who can deal with the peculiarities of older people is in good hands here. The sanitary facilities are older but very well maintained. We would go there again.
