"Oasis in Orcet - We used the site as a stopover between Paris and the Mediterranean and stayed for two nights. We were surprised at how much this campsite has to offer: Pool with counter-current system, whrilpool, water slides and a swimmer's pool are top. The size of the pitches and the leisure facilities are also great: - Table tennis - trampoline - table football We really liked it, not only because of the location near the highway.

"Perfect starting point for the Puy de Dome - The spacious pitches, which are separated by hedges, are easily accessible via the wide access roads, even with large caravans and mobile homes. The pool area is imaginatively designed, quiet and not very busy in the off-season. One of the two sanitary buildings was open. It had an open and a closed, heatable part and was always thoroughly cleaned. The only thing that bothered us was that the drain for chemical toilets was in the closed part and sometimes caused an unpleasant smell. The pitch was absolutely quiet at night and also well lit. If only the Dutch owner would show a little more of the friendliness he certainly has, everything would be perfect. Conclusion: A good site that also offers good value for money with ACSI.

"Expensive in the high season - We used the campsite as a transit station to the south. At over €95 per day for six people, the overnight stay was significantly higher than what I am used to in Germany in August with the same facilities. The pool with slides for the children is a positive feature, as is the fact that you can quickly find your way around due to the size. Fresh pastries are available in the morning if you pay in advance in the evening. The pitch and sanitary facilities were clean at all times.

"Small, well-kept campsite - The campsite is used by many as a transit area. This creates unrest in the main street due to the constant coming and going. We had a nice pitch with tall bushes around it. The sanitary facilities were always clean, but unfortunately very outdated. They urgently need to be renovated to match the rest of the site. The grounds are very well maintained and the pool area has been designed with great attention to detail. A small stream runs right next to the campsite and invites dog owners to go for a nice walk. We preferred to buy our bread rolls from the local bakery. However, it has since closed. The WLAN worked perfectly. The area has a lot to offer and is actually too good to just make a stopover. We felt very comfortable.

"Only too good to stay overnight - Were there in August 2017; only wanted to stay two to three days; ended up staying ten. Very nice campsite with large pitches, most of them surrounded by high hedges, with chippings and level. Plenty of sanitary facilities and always clean. Small swimming pool, unfortunately a little too shallow for adults; very popular with children because of the fantastic water slide. Also whirlpool, bar and snack bar (pizza not so great). Fresh bread can be ordered daily. Very nice operators. Highway in the immediate vicinity, but not audible. The site is very quiet. There is a lot to see in the surrounding area!

"Overnight accommodation with potential - We were just passing through and spent one night there. The pitch prices should be staggered so that those passing through don't get the feeling that they want to buy the pitch straight away. The site is very well maintained and the town is well worth a visit. The proximity to Clermont-Ferrand is definitely a reason to stay longer

Camping Le Clos Auroy, a 4-star campsite in the heart of the Auvergne region, near the Puy de Dôme, bears the Qualité quality label and welcomes you to a setting surrounded by water and mountains. Excellent comfort in a very …pleasant environment. Our swimming pools in the water park, the water slides, jacuzzi and children's pool guarantee you a great holiday. For your comfort, our sanitary facilities are heated and cleaned. In addition, you can take advantage of the regularly organised entertainment and get together at the snack bar. We hope to welcome you soon to our 4-star campsite Le Clos Auroy in Puy de Dôme (63), a department of the Auvergne region. Our 2.5 hectare campsite is built on four flat areas where you will have no trouble finding a pitch that meets your expectations. All our camping pitches are naturally delimited and have an average surface area of 100 m², each with a 10 A electrical connection. Our park is well maintained, shady and flowery There is a Euro-Relay terminal for motorhomes to dispose of waste water and fill the fresh water tanks. The almost new sanitary facilities are well distributed around the campsite and are accessible to everyone. Hot water is free, and washing machines and tumble dryers are available. One toilet block is heated on cooler days. The entire campsite is floodlit at night. A member of the campsite management team is always on hand in case of any problems. Wireless internet access (wifi) is available for our guests to stay connected to the internet. . On site you will find a snack bar/bar selling drinks, ice creams, sweets, crisps, pizzas and chips... You can also relax on the terrace overlooking the swimming pools. Facilities for buying food are limited as there is a supermarket in the centre of the village (250m). In high season you can buy bread from the baker who is at the gate in the morning. There are also ice cubes, chilled water bottles and camping gas in the bar.
