"Friendly, quiet place - We got to know this place for one night in summer 2018. Now we spent 4 nights here in July 2019. Once again we were warmly welcomed by Anne and Philippe. The pool and sanitary facilities are good. The pitch is not very big - and that's good! It has a nice lawn and some shade. You may need a longer cable for the electricity connections. The river Arize is close by. Bread comes from the bakery in Le Mas d'Azil. And the baker is really excellent! There is also a snack bar on site. A very small but good selection. In the surrounding area is the great grotto of Le Mas, the castle in Foix (beautifully designed, but little English text), the Labouiche grotto (go there early in the morning). The old town of Mirepoix is touristy but worth seeing.

Anne and Philippe welcome you for nature holidays with family or friends in a protected environment. We offer chalets and mobil-home, location and tent camper. Our campsite surrounded by small wooded hills spread over 1.6 hectare. You can enjoy a …road trip to go to the shops of Mas d'Azil. This small town is home to a unique site in Europe: The cave of Mas d'Azil. Camping activities will entertain children and adults with a swimming pool surrounded by greenery, evening entertainment, a playground, snack bar, children's camper service, wifi, groceries, bread ... And we are the land of prehistory, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing ... The major attractions of the Ariege (Cathar castles, caves ...) are less than an hour and Andorra is 90 minutes. Maybe soon, with pleasure ...
