"Just like this - That's exactly how I like it. Super friendly welcome. Free choice of pitch when we arrived. Sanitary facilities good and clean for France. I can well imagine camping there again.

"Bike rides - At last, a campsite that invests in hikers rather than in mobile homes: fully equipped kitchen, picnic tables, armchairs etc... Shops nearby, although many close at 6:30pm in June.

Profil

The pretty and well-kept campsite Le Val de Saures is located in the beautiful natural landscape of the Aveyron and the Lot Valley. Nature lovers, those seeking peace and quiet and active holidaymakers will find this the ideal place, right …on the banks of the Lot and on the edge of a charming village. Take a canoe trip, take a refreshing dip in the nearby swimming pool or go exploring on the plateaus. The campsite is located next to a football field and a swimming pool. The terrain is flat and open, so you can perfectly admire the surroundings. Many pitches are located directly along the river and the campsite overlooks a beautiful castle. You can also rent lodge tents or chalets. The sanitary facilities are clean and modern. The campsite Le Val de Saures itself has no swimming pool, but within walking distance there is a large municipal swimming pool with a children's pool and sunbathing area. The swimming pool is open in July and August. Do you like canoeing and kayaking, or just a little dip in the river? The river is perfect for it. At some points near the campsite, the slope to the water is quite steep, so you have to find a suitable place to launch your boat. There is a canoe centre near the campsite. In July and August, when the campsite is busier, various activities are organised for children and adults. Sometimes there is a musical evening. Children can also let off steam to their heart's content in the two playgrounds and in the covered recreation room. In summer, a market is sometimes held at the campsite where you can buy delicious local products.
