"Super campsite - Beautifully situated, directly on the Baltic Sea beach. Beautifully and imaginatively laid out and looked after by a young, very friendly team. Restaurant is fine and open from 09 - 23.00. Cold (lukewarm) shower free of charge. Hot shower in the guest house 3 euros. Two clean toilets, but unfortunately only one place to wash up. WoMo with 2 persons and dog incl. electricity 17 Euro. Small store only 5 minutes away on foot. We would love to come back.

Camping / Guest house / Pub “Melnsils” is a place to enjoy peace and calmness right next to the sea and closer to nature. Every accommodation in camping “Melnsils” is created based on historical events and the stories of the …ancient sea nation. Cottages are located right by the sea with a panoramic views of the beach and Slītere forest landscape. Melnsils is a place to enjoy, fall in love with and come back again and again! "Melnsils" is located directly on the seashore, a charming place only 11 km from the Cape Kolka, near Slītere national park, along Steepbanks, breathtaking hiking trails in the forest. Excellent, naturally outlined cycling paths available, including "Slītere lap" (50 km) along the forest road which passes five Livonian villages. From Košrags route goes along Apakšceļš - a lonely ancient route surrounded by the marshes and forests Košrags and Dūmelis. (Melnsils – Kolka – Vaide – Saunags – Pitrags – Košrags – Dūmele – Ezermuiža - Melnsils). Meadows by the sea offer space for tents and set up fireplaces. Romantic barrels – double dream houses and four-seated family houses, which allow waiting of the sunrise by the sea. Bath –house (Latvian type sauna), just next to the seashore.
