"Campsite to relax and unwind - This is still an "old-style" campsite. Father and daughter put their heart and soul into it. You weren't limited to the time you requested, and if possible you could simply extend or shorten your stay. Unfortunately, Lake Ossiach is not easily accessible for swimming, so it was really nice to just jump into the water from the campsite. The dog wasn't allowed to run around on the beach, but he could go into the water on a lead or onto the SUP, as we did. Dogs are welcome and it didn't cost anything extra. This is really rare in this day and age. You can also go for a walk from the campsite, bags and garbage cans are provided along the way. The baker comes every day from 7.30 am to 8.00 am and has delicious things. There are several walks directly from the campsite or they are easily accessible by bike or car. The monkey mountain and the bunker museum are highly recommended. One week was definitely not enough to do all the things we actually wanted to do. You can also get to Spar quickly by bike (approx. 7 minutes) on the cycle path or to Billa shortly afterwards. Conclusion: We would love to come back

"Relaxed vacation - First of all, a huge thank you to Mr. Morgenfurt and his daughter for their friendly welcome and their constant willingness to help in all kinds of ways. This makes it easy for us to say yes we will come here again, despite the points we have listed here under disadvantages. Overall, we felt very comfortable and the place exuded a certain sense of relaxation. This began on arrival when our daughter personally showed us several pitches and also mentioned the advantages and disadvantages of each pitch. Our very nice neighbors (permanent campers) probably also contributed to this. Due to the small size of the site, the distances are not too far, whether to the lake, the sanitary building, the "cafe" or the waste disposal. The beach with bathing jetty is not overly large but we found it sufficient. The proximity to the railroad line and the main road didn't bother us too much, the "noise" was bearable. On the pitch itself, at least in our "listening area" (to the west of the sanitary building), it was pleasantly quiet at all times of the day and night. So, if Ossiacher See again, then CP Morgenfurt.

"Dream vacation - We have been guests at the Morgenfurt campsite for several years now. Every year our enthusiasm for this campsite and the friendliness of the owners Maggy and Paul grows. We are of course already looking forward to our vacation in 2022. I can only recommend this campsite as it is the most beautiful on Lake Ossiach.

"Campsite with everything you need - As soon as we arrived, Mr. Morgenfurt (Dad) was already there with a spade and spirit level to align the WW. The site is manageable, with its own beach and jetty. In the immediate vicinity is a small playground with swings, table tennis etc. The sanitary facilities are very clean and well maintained and if something wasn't quite right, "Papa" was there to take care of it. In the morning there is a bakery van in the parking lot to provide guests with bread rolls, bread, etc. Catering is replaced by a small snack bar. There are drinks, ice cream and pizza served on a lovely terrace. Shopping facilities can be reached by car or bicycle within a short distance. Fantastic landscapes complete the picture. Excellent as a base camp for visiting Lake Ossiach, Lake Faak, Lake Wörth, Gerlitzen, Landskron Castle, etc. Many thanks to the Morgenfurt family for the wonderful time on their campsite and we will be back.

Profil

Our campsite is located in the heart of Carinthia directly at the beautiful Ossiacher See. Surrounded by the Gerlitzen Alpe in the north (1.911 m) and the Ossiacher Tauern in the south (about 1.000 m) there is an impressive scenery. …On 1,5 ha cultivated and caring applied green area there are about 110 campsites, whereby a familial atmosphere is created, which many of our guest appreciate in particular. Trees make a shady and natural atmosphere and underline the feeling of making holiday in the nature. The campsite is surrounded by a tight hedge of spruces. In the middle of the site there is a buffet with a cosy terrace and the light and modern sanitary. Basic things like spruceness of the areal or tidiness of the sanitary are essential and self-evident for us. Our major concern is to create your holiday as beautiful as possible and to make sure that you are feeling comfortable all around. On our campsite there is no animation, but we are happy to give you tips and advices for places of excursions or sport possibilities and of course we are always ready to listen to all your little wishes. No matter if you would like to spend your holiday with caravan, camper or a tent, you prefer a sunny or shady site – on our campsite there is a place for your holiday of dreams for every preference...
