- Maike S.July 2021PozitivnoThe location is unsurpassable! Due to the proximity of the strait, the sea is available twice within walking distance. 1x directly at the campsite and 1x approx. 15 - 20 minutes on the other side Many water sports possible.NegativnoThe toilet blocks are over 50 years old (renovation backlog! Or at least 1 wash house is closed instead of being renovated!), the chemical toilets are partly disposed of in a converted toilet - which is a massive odor and noise nuisance on the "quiet little place". You have to bring your own toilet paper and you look in vain for toilet seats if there are any sitting toilets at all (few at the back of the campsite) Also particularly sad since about 2020 dogs are completely forbidden on the beach. My 2nd home, despite low standardsThe campsite is simple, there is a bakery, you can buy pizza (best to order in advance) and there is a small bar. There is also a small playground and a few boules courts. Most of the pitches have electricity (either 6 or 10 amps) and there are also a few with their own water connection. Depending on... the pitch you have a sea view! The bay of Morbihan is right next to the site, i.e. fewer waves, deep water at high tide and around 1 km to walk at low tide, with no chance of swimming 😉 but on the other side is the open Atlantic with lots of waves, not very deep for a long time and lots of opportunities for water sports. Please note that dogs are now prohibited on both sides in summer 😞 which, in the eyes of many, significantly reduces the attractiveness of the site! Especially as the site is so large, as is the beach, that you could open up a section!
This would also be possible on the other side without first having to drive, as is the case now, and then fight for a parking space on the dog beach!
So much for the dog ban on the beach being environmental protection... maybe yes, but not only, especially if all dog owners then have to drive to the dog beach!Automatski prevedeno. - G. B.August 2020PozitivnoLocation, rather quiet, beautiful surroundings (e.g. the "wild coast" towards Quiberon.NegativnoToilet cleanliness could be a little better in places, but somehow still works.typically BrittanyVarious pitches (directly by the sea, in hollows sheltered from the wind and also some higher up at the back with a view of the sea.
However, the sea pitches are quite close together...
Electricity available almost everywhere, sufficient wash houses. No problem with English at the reception, also some... (very good) German-speaking service staff.
Snack bar, small (outdoor) bar on the site. Normal prices, friendly staff.
Very beautiful surroundings, cycle tours within a radius of approx. 10-20 km to Quiberon, Erdeven, Carnac, Plouharnel with good shopping facilities.
The beach is in a rather quiet area (Bay of Quiberon), approx. 350 m to the west and you are directly on the Atlantic coast with a beautiful sandy beach stretching for miles.Automatski prevedeno.
