Super!Automatski prevedeno.- Herbert S.September 2023PozitivnoSpacious pitches, well equipped, everything cleanNegativnoOrganization does not always work satisfactorily, Prepayment dampens the spontaneous camping experienceThere is little to criticizeWe ended up here unplanned because the site we had originally planned to stay at was closed on Sundays, contrary to the written statement. So we quickly had to find an "emergency nail", which was - as the nearest site - the Oranjezon. This proved to be by no means an emergency solution! We were given... a luxury pitch near the front sanitary building with approx. 120 m², water, waste water, cable TV and working WiFi. The sanitary facilities were always clean and were cleaned frequently. Unfortunately, there are only 2 single wash cubicles in the front sanitary building (for the men). Toilets and showers - both always clean - are only accessible from outside. There are several small sanitary blocks scattered around the site, each with 2-3 toilets and sinks. The pool is rather small, but is sufficient for cooling off. There is also a store in the reception hall with the essentials for survival. We didn't use the restaurant and snack bar. The site is divided by hedges into squares with 6-8 pitches each, which is cozy and promotes contact with the neighbors. Unfortunately, our access road was a bit narrow, which led to slight battle scars on our caravan - personal carelessness. We didn't need a mover for the "last mile" because all the neighbors pushed along (without being asked!), something I haven't experienced for a long time! The way to the huge beach is about 1300 m/20 min through the nature reserve. By bike you are quickly in Vrouwenpolder to the supermarket or the pubs. So far "gladly again!". The negative and annoying thing was that we had initially agreed that we would contact them on Wednesdays to talk about an extension (we wanted to see if we liked the place and the area first). Then we were suddenly told "colleague has made a mistake and given away space, and there's absolutely nothing left!" (Mosselenfest at the weekend). As a cool camper, I thought to myself: Then that's the way it should be ;)) and we continued on Fridays towards Schouven-Duiveland. But objectively: a place worth recommending.Automatski prevedeno.

Reception was very friendly! We had to pay directly for the stay, which is already a minus point! The pitch was nice and big (luxury pitch) and level! The ground let the water run off directly when it rained! The sanitary buildings were okay. But....were not cleaned regularly...which... is not possible on a busy campsite! On the 4th day we complained, then the cleaning ladies were seen once....but the cleanliness still left a lot to be desired! Showers are timed for 5 minutes....After that they switch off for 3 minutes. The way to the beach is nice but far, and only accessible on foot (bicycles prohibited)! At a normal pace without small children about 15 to 20 minutes! The pool is not large and is more of an invitation to cool off...but sufficient for children. We will be back!!!We've been going to Vrouwenpolder for a long time and this year was our first time at Camping Oranjezon. The location next to the nature reserve (a visit with or without a guided tour is worthwhile) is simply fantastic. The new building in the entrance area has definitely improved the quality of the... campsite. The reception, supermarket and restaurant are very good and friendly. There are play areas for children. Although the pool is small, it is perfect for a refreshing dip in between, as the sea with its first-class beach and equally first-class beach pavilion is just 1.2 km away through the dunes. The pitches are divided into different categories and are large enough. The sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day. It was very quiet on the pitch at night. Fortunately, the children could sometimes be heard during the day. However, this is simply part and parcel of a campsite. We have already booked two more vacations at Oranjezon for next year. The whole area is clean and well-kept, the playgrounds are very well equipped. In my opinion, a separate, covered play area for children would be a sensible investment, as I find the current "entertainment area" rather poor. The site is well signposted. I found the reception at the subsequent check-in quite indifferent, although there were regional cookies as a welcome gift; the staff speak German. Our pitch... (no. 599) unfortunately only had 20% grass, the rest was earth and gravel, which constantly ended up in the awning and camper van; but grass is standard. Many German campers (also permanent). During the main holiday season it gets a bit more restless on the site, but still quiet overall. Restaurant and snack bar are ok. You can get the essentials in the small store. Bread rolls, if you are early in the morning (from 8.30 am), even without pre-ordering. There is a large playground plus volleyball court and a pool with a baby pool. The sanitary facilities are always clean, are cleaned up to 4 times a day and are available in sufficient numbers even in high season. The walk to the beach is long (1.2 km - 15 min.), but it is not as crowded as elsewhere. A little out of the way but quiet and close to nature. The walk to the beach takes around 20 minutes.
