We had to change huts for this, which didn't bother us.
The huts are very spacious, equipped with a kettle and some crockery. You can use the campsite infrastructure, where you can... cook and wash up.
Timmel has a supermarket - about 15 minutes on foot.
It's 19 km to Leer - definitely worth a visit - which is easy to cycle. In general, you can cycle very well in East Frisia, both long-distance cycle paths and regional tours based on junctionsAutomatski prevedeno.

The pitches are mostly very large, nicely level and with lots of grass or some with a paved awning area. There is an inconspicuous but recognizable parcelling, so that everyone knows their "territory" and you don't find your new neighbor on... your own pitch after an excursion. Unfortunately, I have experienced this on other pitches.
The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but still adequate and it was always clean - that's all we needed.
The site is ideal for relaxing, swimming, canoeing, motor boating and cycling.
There are few tourist highlights in the immediate vicinity, but you can be in Papenburg or at the North Sea in under an hour by car.

Very friendly staff, well-maintained and clean site. Perfect pitches. Sanitary area also top. There is even a baby/toddler bathtub. However, it's a bit outdated but it's good to use. Many activities are offered at the site. Pedal boat and dino car hire. Only a few meters to the beach. There are several playgrounds, a beach bar and a beach sauna.

This was our third time here and we loved it right from the start. The sanitary facilities are clean, the washing-up area is outdoor and spacious, and there are plenty of fresh water points. You can be on the beach in less than... five minutes, free entry, swimming fun included. Even lovers of Kiel's sprog lifestyle with motorhomes will find chic paved pitches at the harbor. A supermarket in the village, also practical, around 750m away. The small boat harbor invites you to relax and/or go boating. Fish and fish sandwiches are also available there at weekends. Hedges and trees provide good protection... from the constant wind and shade on hot days. As a touring camper without a dog, there is a spacious traffic circle with a playground and water connection in the middle. This is ideal for families with small children. The Timmeler Meer with its fine sandy beach, boat and bike rental (paddle & pedal) and a beach café with the tastiest fish sandwiches for miles around is right next to the site, as is a small harbor for motorboats. The dense network of cycle paths and canals is a dream for cyclists, paddlers and boaters.Automatski prevedeno.

The following can be said about the site: friendly, uncomplicated welcome, nice large pitches, bread rolls are available about 300m away, there is also a supermarket and a restaurant opposite. The site is located on a lake from which several canals... branch off, good for paddling. You can hire canoes and kayaks at the lake and pedal boats and small motorboats at reception. Emden, Leer and Aurich are within easy reach and the coast is not that far away either. The area is ideal for cycling. The cleaning times for men 18:00 to 19:00 and women 19:00 to 20:00 take some getting used to. In the past, we have always tended to visit when there were few visitors. Now there was an Easter rush. We stood on the side that was also permitted for dogs, which was more of a coincidence. The other part of the site is strictly dog-free. The pitch was very large,... there was enough space for cars and caravans. Central fresh water point. The sanitary facilities were clean and well maintained despite the large number of visitors. The cleaning times take some getting used to. We personally find it rather inconvenient between 6 and 8 a.m., but perhaps there are otherwise more late risers here. The shower cubicles are large, numerous hooks, no shower coins. Not a wellness oasis, but clean and practical. Adjacent to the beach and marina, mini golf, snack bar and pub, excursion boat and starting point for numerous cycle tours. A well-stocked supermarket with bakery is within walking distance. A pleasant place, clean and uncomplicated, a good starting point for anyone wanting to explore East FrisiaAutomatski prevedeno.
