This pitch is rented for 2 people, each additional person is charged. Nevertheless, I had to pay extra for my girlfriend every weekend (of course only in cash and without a receipt). There was a hedge about 2m high in front of the water place, I was told... before the season that it would be cut back to 1.5m, I then had to cut the hedge back myself....
The view is also obscured by a 2m high steel fence, the site operator told me before the season that this would be cut back to 1m high, unfortunately it didn't happen... Otherwise you feel monitored and are told to pull weeds and cut the hedge. A short visit from the neighboring campsite is also not possible without registration and payment.

We feel very comfortable. The sanitary facilities may be getting on in years, but they are cleaned more than once a day and are always clean. The whole site is kept in top order... at all times by the friendly owners and is very well maintained. Attention is paid to peace and quiet at night, so that the relaxation factor is very high even for short stays. The beautiful old town of Roermond is just a few minutes away by bike. From the campsite you can go on beautiful SUP and boat trips. Opposite the campsite is a water ski and wakeboard facility where you can spend some great days. Permanent campers have to expect enormous price increases from year to year without the money being used for modernization. Second child will cost extra... from 2022. As a permanent camper, you are given a KWH figure for electricity. If you use more you pay more, if you use less you get nothing back. A rip-off. Day guests also pay per head and car. The friendliness, cleanliness and helpfulness of Velmans, as well as the location of the campsite itself. On the one hand, it is embedded in a leisure and nature paradise and on the other hand, it offers a wide range of activities for those interested in culture due to the walking distance to Roermond. Those interested in shopping will also get their money's worth thanks to the various shopping opportunities (Outlet-Center Roermond)!NegativnoNone!!!Super placeAll in all, a wonderful opportunity to relax. You can relax and unwind or spend the day actively, and there are plenty of options here from the campsite. Roermond city is practically on the doorstep for a stroll through the city or a stop at the outlet center. The owner family welcomes everyone and makes everything possible that is in their power. simply top and to be recommended. !!!!!NegativnoThere was nothing that we noticed as a disadvantage, we've stayed here several times now. But there are always those who are looking for something to complain about, even if it's just the tiles in the bathroom that aren't from 2020....Again and againAs I mentioned above, everything is just right here at the campsite.
There is a very pleasant atmosphere here, as you are greeted by a very friendly and cordial host family and guided to your booked pitch.
If you have any concerns, even if it's just a forgotten plug adapter, they will help you as much... as they can.
As the site is not that big, you have the feeling of coming home and yet being on vacation.
Simply recommended.
Some people complain that there is no catering on the campsite, but my counter-question is: Does it have to be?
There is a "pommesporsche" at the entrance to the site and also offers other snacks, and the fridge in the motorhome or caravan contains a nice meal in a nice restaurant in Roermond anyway.
So it doesn't have to be.
