As we were the only guests, the sanitary facilities didn't bother us.
We ordered bread rolls and received them in a bread basket. it's the little things that we appreciate.

We appreciate the friendliness of the owners, the peace and quiet on the campsite and the delicious food in the restaurant, especially the salad buffet. If you want to explore the Upper Palatinate and the neighboring... Czech Republic, the campsite is a very good starting point. Located right on the edge of the forest, there are also hiking trails around the campsite through the forest and into the nearby town of Furth i.Wald.Automatski prevedeno.

But that doesn't detract from the location and the site. There are just no permanent campers. It is idyllically situated on the edge of the forest with a fantastic panorama. What I imagine to be bad. An extensive breakfast buffet can be enjoyed in the adjoining hotel for €6.50. Pitches not parceled out, but spacious, some under trees. Access from the main road somewhat narrow and confusing. Sanitary facilities as good as new and very clean, washing machine available.... Unfortunately only one shower per man/woman, shower head cannot be removed. Very quiet at night. Good starting point for hikes, e.g. to the Gibacht hiking area. By car about 8-10 minutes to the center of Furth im Wald, there e.g. Aldi, Edeka, Netto (along the Nordgaustraße / Glashüttenweg).Automatski prevedeno.
