But everything is easy to drive on, even with a caravan.
Then we arrived in the sun, in the forest... A fantastically situated site, super friendly operators....
Another highlight was the opportunity to eat on site. Very good cuisine with a small menu on which everything is delicious, we tried it. :)

Fendti B.May 2023PozitivnoThe experience of nature The peace and quiet (if you get it)Negativnovery remote, no net, sanitaryCamping as it used to be.....We booked the campsite because of the many good reviews and because we simply wanted to enjoy nature camping and the peace and quiet.
The campsite is in a really quiet location in the middle of the forest. This gives it its charm and you are woken up by the chirping of birds. It doesn't hurt to bring... chocks, as everything is very uneven. There is plenty of space. The cell phone network can be forgotten here, but the WLAN offered works quite well (if you don't want to watch series/movies over it).
The satellite dish could be used on some pitches.
The site was not very busy when we arrived, so everything was very relaxed. Otherwise I wouldn't know where all the people were supposed to shower. There were 3 showers for ladies and 2 working toilets. Everything was outdated, no privacy, but the cleanliness was okay. You have to be aware that you really are at the bottom of the world here and have to travel long distances for excursions and sightseeing. However, you can go on great tours in the national park by bike.
Shopping facilities can be found in Möllenhagen, approx. 7 km away. Waren is approx. 18km away
The campsite restaurant is run by the friendly and hard-working site owners and offers really tasty home cooking with its small menu, if you don't expect anything fancy.
The only reason we would go back to this campsite if we were to get the next one is because of the peace and quiet. Unfortunately, our neighbor (permanent camper) built a carport and we had 5 days of circular saw, cordless screwdriver, etc., instead of pure nature around the ears. We think this should be built out of season.
ATTENTION: If you are driving here for the first time, you should not necessarily trust your GPS. Do not turn off at Bocksee, but continue in the direction of Klockow. Bocksee ends in a narrow cul-de-sac.Automatski prevedeno.

The pitches are great, some with small paved areas for caravans and Womo where they can stand level and straight on it (very good 👍👍)
You can also eat very well there, real home cooking (rarely eaten such a delicious fresh schnitzel)
You can get supplies... nearby, e.g. Waren or Stavenhagen (you can also combine this with a visit to the Ivenacker Eichen 🌳)
All in all - SUPER ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If you want action, Klockow is certainly not the right place. If you're looking for peace and relaxation, you've come to the right place! Bathing lakes such as... Bornsee or Mühlensee are only 2-3 km away and it is sooo nice and quiet there. :-)) Cyclists and hikers also get their money's worth. Whether directly from the campsite or from the nearby national park villages - you are quickly in the middle of wonderful Mecklenburg, where you can observe nature and animals. We also found the food there very tasty. Among other things, good home-style cooking with home-made fried potatoes and if you're there at the right time, you can get a nice, large home-smoked trout every now and then! We had a wonderful vacation there with our huskies and will definitely be back next year!Automatski prevedeno.

The surrounding area is very easy to reach by bike, and the bike bus extends the range to the Müritz, the town of Waren and beyond. Swimming in the... pool and in the many lakes (best reached by bike) is a highlight for the children. And don't forget: the campsite is located in a national park - so nature is the order of the day.
