"cozy campsite - The campsite is really nice, we had a great pitch with a direct view of the mountains. The only thing was that we got pretty soaked in the bad weather, the water was standing on the pitch. Otherwise everything was great, the wash house is modern (except for the toilets, which are probably still being renovated). The showers were great, although the squeegee suddenly went missing after 2 days (and didn't reappear), leaving the floors very dirty. CP is centrally located for numerous activities. We particularly liked the cycle path to Mayerhofen. It's also really nice for children. We will definitely be back 🤗

"Family campsite with swimming pool and restaurant - We received a very friendly welcome. The check-in went really well and we were able to choose a seat ourselves. The great restaurant is still run by the Hofer family themselves. The bathing area and the swimming pool are very well maintained. Everything is decorated with love. The sanitary facilities are thoroughly cleaned. The guests adhere to all current measures in an exemplary manner. We liked it so much that we booked our favorite place again for August.

"Nice little place, centrally located in the Zillertal - We were there with the caravan in August and had a nice pitch (Feld-Weg 21) with a good view and still a bit of shade, which was quite good at 30 degrees. The restaurant on site offers good food at a slightly higher but still acceptable price. The staff on site and in the restaurant are very friendly. The entrance regularly becomes a bottleneck, a marked waiting zone or instructions would be helpful here. Tip: Take a look at the whole thing beforehand with Google Streetview. The center of Zell can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. The campsite is very centrally located in the Zillertal with many excursion destinations and hiking opportunities. Good offer of rafting and canyoning tours from regional providers.

Profil

Our small family-run campground with approximately 100 campsites is centrally located, only a few minutes walk from the village centre of Zell im Zillertal. Beautiful, roomy camping spaces and completely refurbished sanitary facilities will guarantee you a special first-class camping …vacation. The cosy and comfortable atmosphere makes “camper hearts” beat faster. At Hofer Camping, the concept of a family vacation is indeed written in boldface. The new children’s playground was built with lots of affection and offers facilities for sliding, scrambling, climbing on ropes, playing in the sand and much more. Kids can also find different games and a play corner in our big room for both children and young people. A heated open-air swimming pool (that can be covered during bad weather conditions) is waiting for all those enthusiastic swimmers who are seeking refreshment and cool relaxation in the water. The bath’s attractive yard and gardens extend a special invitation for relaxation. An extensive weekly programme and special programmes for children provide lots of fun and entertainment. A word to the wise: once a week during the peak season, your camping host, “Minz”, offers to take you on a visit to the most beautiful peaks of the Zillertal mountain world. And for those who prefer to give the camping stove a rest, there is a newly-designed restaurant on-site. At Hofer Camping, the well-being of our guests always comes first.
