If you like simplicity, this is the place for you.
If you are happy with a pitch, electricity (long cables may be necessary, Schuko sockets), clean sanitary facilities and the possibility of storing your food in a communal fridge, you can have a very nice stay here. Due to its character, the site is... very quiet and you hardly notice it. You drive to the sea, pitch your tent or park your caravan/WoMo and that's pretty much it.
Shopping, restaurants, entertainment, etc. are elsewhere.
The boss is really very helpful. English is quite good.

Great campsite for people who like it simple
We stayed at the campsite in May 2019. At first glance, everything looked a bit run-down. But first impressions were deceptive. As the people in the village told us, the old Betzitzer, who was really old, died a few months ago. He was probably overwhelmed with running the place, which is why fewer and... fewer guests have been coming in recent years. Now Jorgos is on the site and is sprucing everything up! The admittedly basic sanitary facilities are very clean and you can see that a lot of effort is being put into revitalizing the site. Every day we were in the sea, to which the campsite has direct access, and on some days we were able to watch dolphins at breakfast, only about 50m from the beach! We experienced a lot during the 7 days of our stay! The village of Kirra and the nearby town of Itea each have their own charm. We hiked to Delfi from the campsite. We cycled to the mountain villages on e-bikes. There are also good restaurants. The location on the road connecting Itea and Desfina also put us off at first. However, due to its lower location, the little traffic can hardly be heard at all. We were delighted with our week at the campsite and are looking forward to seeing what it looks like when we return next year. Finally, it should be noted that this campsite is a good alternative to the campsites in the immediate vicinity of Delfi. Although it is 10 km further away from the historical sites, it offers the sea right next to the campsite and truly heavenly peace and quiet.
